After reading this
poem, I began thinking,
how many of us really do this?
When you wake up to start a new day,
do you say, "Good Morning ,
God!" or "Good God, it's morning?"
For many years I dreaded each pain filled day.
I had trouble facing the obsticles that I was certain to find. Setting my feet on the floor was a chore.. much less getting up!

My physical ailments ranged from
arthritis to migraines to sinus infections....
on and on and on. The emotional pain was what
I dreaded the most. It seemed I was living in a nightmare
that I couldn't wake up from and couldn't escape.  One day,
I was told, "You will die soon, if you don't change your lifestyle."

That one statement hit me like a
ton of bricks.  At first, I was paniced.
Then I realized, that what the doctor told me,
meant I had a choice. There was something
I could do about the quality of my life. I just had to
figure out what it was. After I got over feeling sorry for
myself, I took charge of my life and made many changes.

Today, my life may not be perfect...
but I am Alive! No matter what your life is
like, you have choices. They may be easy to
find or they may take some searching to uncover.
But, they are there. It is up to you to Carpe Diem.

May you Be Blessed and May you Be Loved,  Shadowess
My Thoughts...
Live your life to the fullest.
Be proud of who you are. Don't
settle for less than you deserve. And
you'll go very far. Make each day a
happy one. Don't hesitate to have some fun ...

Walk a dog
Take a jog
Bake a cake
Give, don't take
Play a game
Sing in the rain
Flash a smile
It's worth the while
Do a dance
Take a chance
Share a laugh

Think
of all you have.
A simple "hello" may make
someone's day, so Carpe Diem,
Seize the day!
