Character Model: Erica Leerhsen

Name: Verdande Cartwright
Nickname(s): Dee
Age: 21
Occupation: Waitress at the Harvest Moon
Species/Status: Werewolf/ mid-level
Position: -

Height/Weight: 167cm/
Eyes/Hair:
Appearance: her eyes are blue-grey, and she has long red and curly hair that falls down her back. She’s somewhat curvy. Her skin is very fair and burns easily. She has a tattoo of a black rose at her lower back. No piercings yet, but she wants one. At a normal day, she’d use black as the main colour, and probably wear a gypsy-like skirt with some sort of belt over her hips and a black top, along with some jewellery she’s bought at a wiccan store. At the night of the full moon, she would probably show up with as little clothes as possible, and shed them once it was safe.
Shifted Appearance: All grey fur, yellow eyes, medium sized.

Personality: Verdande is a bit of a walking contradiction. She’s shy and rather sweet to strangers, but has a foul mouth and is extremely open when she’s with her friends. She was raised to believe in the principle of free love, and her mother was high priestess in a pagan sect, something which has rubbed off on Verdande. She has a quick temper, but would cry like a baby if someone mowed down a forest. She believes strongly in the God and the Goddess, and has no trouble with being a werewolf. She’s pretty much in tune with her beast and she’s very comfortable with nudity. Verdande is lesbian, a fact she is not ashamed of, and has no trouble with at all. She claims to have known about her sexual preferences ever since sixth grade, when she had a crush on their teacher, Miss Porter.
Verdande is very fond of reading, writing poetry, writing on her novel, painting, being with her friends, dancing naked to the beat of nature, and running with the pack.
However, she can’t stand rude men, the President, child labour, or being left hanging by some bitchy one night stand as that’s just cruel. She aspires to be a successful author, but has yet to complete a novel. However, she’s confident that it’ll be ground-breaking. In the meantime she writes smaller romance stories for slightly crappy magazines. Of all things, Verdande fears being raped as it would mean losing control and being dominated in a way she’s not comfortable with. She can be a bit of a control-freak at times. Her other big fear is nuclear war, and has a box of stuff she’ll need ‘just in case’ stashed under her bed.

Family: Douglas Cartwright (father, alive), Sunshine Moonflower Cartwright (mother, alive), Skuld Cartwright (sister, alive)

History: Verdande got her name from Norse mythology, named so by her Irish hippie mum when she was seven years old. She had an unusual childhood, coloured by love for humans and for nature. The belief in the God and Goddess is ingrained in her. When she, as a 16 year old got infected by her lover, she considered it a blessing rather than a curse since her beast got her closer to nature than she had ever been before. Verdande has never had a lasting relationship, being too fickle and flighty in love. She’s not very gracious when she’s doing the breaking up, in fact sometimes she just moves on without telling her girlfriend about it. She moved to London when she was 18 to get a life of her own, and managed to live pretty well on the earnings she gets from waitressing in Nine Lives.
However, after a year or so, Verdande got the travel-itch again, and used all her savings to go to the promised land. Once in Boston, she soon settled in the local pack and after being a temp at different places, she landed a job as a waitress at the Harvest Moon. She loves being a waitress, and the pay is enough to let her pay the rent on her little two-room flat.

Strengths: she’s ruthless when needed, and has a very strong personality. She’d follow all orders from her Ulfric blindly and without ever questioning her. She knows much about wicca and paganism, having grown up in a sect. She never gets down about being a shifter, and refuses to let anyone make her feel like a second-class citizen because of it.
Weaknesses: She’s very in tune with her beast, which at times shows when she can’t control her eyes bleeding into yellow. She can’t have silver close to her skin, being very sensitive to it, almost more than usual shifter sensitivity. Her skin will start burning if the silver is an inch away. She doesn’t always think things through, and has a tendency to think the best of people. She’s not very good at fighting at all, and it’s only when her beast takes control that she manage to get anywhere fighting-wise.
Other: Verdande abhors cars and doesn’t have a driver’s license.
