| Personality: Tank is a genuine nice guy with a soft spot for a good laugh or a bout of profanity-laced jokes. He’s normally rather jovial and friendly and really tries to make the best of situations. He’s not one to hold a grudge and he’s good at accepting the best and the worst of people and really tries to cut the individual some slack.
Despite this, he’s definitely an ‘alpha male’ though he’s never been one to push others around. He tends to garnish respect with his easy-going, approachable nature. He’s one of those good, reliable men.
He’s a bit of a health nut and eats only healthy food, though he used to smoke when he was younger. He works out religiously though allows himself the occasional break.
Family: Bridget Dougan (ex-wife) Carl Anderson (father, alive) Layla Anderson (mother, alive), Efia Weston (sister, alive) Chloe Weston (neice, deceased)
History: Tyson Anderson was born and raised in Los Angeles CA. When he was three, his father was arrested and convicted of murder and began his lifetime stint in a maximum security penitentiary. With his father gone, Tyson’s mother had to get a second (and later a third) job to make ends meet for her small family. Watching his mother work herself into the ground, Tyson was determined to help take care of his younger sister and he vowed to make enough money someday to let his mother retire and never have to work again.
He always did well in school and graduated toward the top of his class, but instead of going to college, he joined the United States Marine Corp where he earned the nickname ‘Tank’ and became a Reconnaissance Marine.
Before being shipped off to the Gulf War, Tank’s search for something to ground him to civilian life led to the shotgun marriage with his on-again off-again high school sweetheart: Bridget Dougan.
While in Iraq, Tank was wounded during the Battle of Khafji and received a Purple Heart. Even after the war ended, Tank remained in the Marines and was stationed in Texas with his wife. Marriage didn’t make their relationship any better and Tank and Bridget did nothing but argue. Eventually they drifted away from each other and decided on a mutual divorce.
Now twenty eight years old, Tank retired from the military after getting in an altercation with an officer. He spent some time as a Corrections Officer in LA but found the job boring so he sought other employment. It was through a war buddy that he heard about Lionheart Security Corp. and he was quickly hired as a security contractor.
Tank spent the next ten years working in the field, during which time he was infected by a wererat during a mission-gone-wrong in Romania. After his infection he was offered more jobs but declined, deciding instead to take an offered ‘desk job’ for the company. He fulfilled his promise and sent his mother money each month so she could get her debt paid off and eventually bought her a new house in San Francisco.
Just two months ago, Lionheart asked him to relocate to Boston to set up a satellite office for the company. He’s in charge of recruitment and training and specializes in SWAT training seminars and teaches self defense.
Strengths: he’s very dependable; a great teacher and tends to accept people for who they are. He’s proficient with computers though could never be considered a ‘techie’ – he was one of the ‘shoot-‘em-up guys’ before he became a recruiter.
Weaknesses: he’s a sucker for kids; loves pizza and beer and always eats it on his ‘days off’ from being healthy
Home: Just moved into a high-rise condo with two bedrooms and all the amenities. Money isn’t an issue and he prefers to live comfortably.
Other: He still gives his mother part of his paycheck each week and he prefers to date white women.
