Personality: Poppy’s sassy, a self-confessed queen-bee, and she is used to get her way. She loves doing new stuff, especially things that thrills her. Anything that smacks of danger draws her like a fly to honey, and it’s very important to her that cool older people like her. She’ll go to lengths to impress, and she falls in love every other day. Her crushes are world-ending, epic and above all; brief. She loves gossiping and loves a scandal just as much as the next person. Her attention span when it comes to things she finds boring is dreadfully short, something that might leave the impression of her being
scatterminded.
She fears being kidnapped, being robbed, raped and killed. Also, grasshoppers, wasps, bees and spiders freak her out. She’s a clinger when watching scary movies and needs to distract herself after watching a scary movie to be able to sleep.

History: When Lalita became pregnant with Patricia it was something of a surprise, but both she and Harry had wanted a sister for Juanita and welcomed the news. Patricia never really liked her name, and at age seven she started call herself Poppy. It stuck, and even her parents ended up using the nickname after a while. Poppy herself showed promise once she’d started at school: promise to prove rather intelligent, but she was also the unrivalled queen of the classroom and often caused mayhem. She lasted a year at that school and the last months her parents applied for her to be sent to the same boarding school Juanita was attending. They hadn’t wanted for Poppy to be known as Juanita’s
sister at school but there was no way around it. After a bit of difficulties, with some generous donations by her father smoothing the road, poppy’s application was accepted.
Poppy soon found her element at her boarding school. Although she missed her parents, and later her younger sister, she loved being with her friends and soon started exploring the city to get connections outside of school. Now, at 14, she has some contacts and knows exactly when and how to sneak out of school and not get punished. She keeps a somewhat low profile in class, but redeems herself in the breaks when she surrounds herself with friends and gets up to almost whatever pops into her mind.
Strengths: She has a very strong belief in herself and what she has to offer, she rarely wavers when she’s given her word to do something, and has a streak of adventure the size of Brazil.
Weaknesses: She will dive headfirst into the most flimsy schemes if they involve dangerous cool people or cute boys. She doesn’t often think things through, and has a certain disregard for warnings, authority and rules. She enjoys speaking back to people, which has gotten her in trouble in the past.
