| Personality: Nora has always been something of a tomboy. When she was little
she’d much rather play outside in the dirt with her brother than play with
dolls. She’s not one to fuss over a bruise here and there and loves to be out
and about. She’s often in a good mood, but when she gets mad or irritated, she
gets so in a big way. She’s always been close with her brother despite their
age difference and has no qualms about putting him in his place if she sees the
need to. Nora adores her niece and nephew and gets along very well with her
brother’s girlfriend, Isabella. Some would describe Nora as being the light of
her family, always able to bring a smile to their faces with a joke or her
silly antics. She’s hugely interested in computers and has been so for most of
her teen years. She rarely goes anywhere without her laptop. She’s a very
active person and instead of a car, she uses her bike to get pretty much
everywhere.

History: Nora was born in 1994 to a Caucasian father and a Hispanic mother. Her brother was seven when she was born and there was never really any sibling rivalry between them. Nora grew up loved and from the very beginning, she was encouraged to go after her dreams, no matter what they were.
Growing up with an older brother, Nora became a complete tomboy and had more
friends that were boys than girls. When she was 8, her brother was infected
with lycanthropy and ended up a werewolf. Their parents didn’t tell Nora to
begin with, but she eventually found out from the simple way of eavesdropping.
She didn’t tell anyone she knew for a couple of years though and managed to
keep her brother’s secret to herself.
When Nora was 10, she was thrilled to learn that she was going to become an
aunt as her brother’s girlfriend was pregnant. Not seeing the seriousness of
her brother being only 17, Nora simply thought it was awesome that she’d become
an aunt already. She was over the moon when her niece, Estela was born and made
sure to be as much a part of everything that happened with her from that moment
on.
From an early age, Nora was very fascinated with computers. She’d beg her dad to teach her how to use the family computer and once she learned her family had a hard time keeping her away from it. At 12, she got her first laptop and from that moment on, she submerged herself completely into it and into cyberspace, learning everything she could about computers, often fixing her own computer when it acted up and eventually also fixing the family computer whenever needed.
Because Nora still loved playing soccer and being outside, her parents didn’t see her intense computer interest as a problem. In High School, Nora played for the soccer team and got to know some other computer geeks. She was never really into the subjects like math or biology and instead concentrated whole-heartedly on soccer and computers. Had she wanted to, she could’ve been pretty popular in High School, but outside of soccer she’d rather hang out with her fellow computer geeks than the popular kids.
At 16, Nora became an aunt for the second time as her nephew, Jonah, was born. Once again over the moon and completely sold on the little one, she made sure to be picked as a babysitter as often as possible.
After High School, Nora was thrilled when she got accepted to Boston University to study Computer Science. Happy to be staying in Boston, but choosing to live at the dorm instead of at home still, Nora adjusted quickly to college life.
Just after her 18th birthday, Nora went to a party with some friends in New
York. At some point, two guys got into a fight and one of them ended up with
his hands partially shifting. Having good knowledge of shifters, Nora was the
only one who realized what had happened, but she didn’t manage to get out of
the way in time before the guy fell against her, scratching her arm in the
process. Luckily the guy got himself under control and no one else got hurt.
Nora knew that there was a chance she might be infected, but that it wasn’t
certain. Not wanting to worry her brother or parents for nothing, she decided
to go see her brother’s girlfriend, Isabella, who’s the witch for the werewolf
pack in Boston, hoping she would be able to sense whether or not she was
infected…
Strengths: she has a strong sense of self and doesn’t take mean words to heart, she’s not fussy and would rather just bit back pain than complain about it, she’s very smart and a complete computer whiz.
Weaknesses: she’s not very good at keeping things clean around her and sometimes has to force herself to clean to keep her room at her dorm from
looking like a pigsty, she can hold grudges for a long time.
Other: Nora is a hacker, but this isn’t exactly public knowledge. She doesn’t use her skills to spread viruses or do any damage. It’s just a fun hobby for her.
Home: a small dorm-room at Boston Uni which she shares with an art student who is rarely there. She shares a bathroom with half of her floor. Nora’s side of the room is sparsely decorated and most of her desk is filled with electronic equipment (laptop, scanner, printer, external hard drives etc.)
