Personality: Loc’s joy in life is Nizhoni. He deeply loves her and would go to
the ends of the earth for her. His other joy in life is dealing out pain to
others. His love for paining others is criminal in nature. Loc is generally one
to listen more than speak, but he will be commanding when he needs to be heard.
He takes shit from no one, save his lover, and this fact is abundantly clear.
Loc is not above murder, certainly not above torture, and will carry through on
his threats. Violence is simply a part of his nature.
Many people are below his notice and his normally aloof behavior proves that he
is quite capable of ignoring just about everyone.
He’s intelligent, witty, and humorous—though it would take some work to get to
know him enough to realize this about him.
History: Born in 1680 in Zacpeten, Ix Cuat Tlaloc had a typical Ko’woj Mayan
upbringing. He was married by the age of thirteen and had two children by the
time he was seventeen. It wasn’t long after that Ix Cuat Tlaloc was attacked
while hunting. He saw the changes in himself as a blessing and so did the Ko-
woj tribe and he suddenly found himself raised to almost God-like status
amongst his people. He was no longer allowed to hunt, to fight, or to do
anything that he had previously enjoyed and was expected to sit quietly while
he was waited upon.
Ix Cuat Tlaloc eventually grew weary of life in Zacpeten and the hand he had
been dealt, so he took his family and left the tribe, heading north and
avoiding the Spanish that had invaded their land so many years before.
They had reached what is now southern Mexico when they ran into a Spanish
scouting party. Though he tried to protect his family, Ix Cuat Tlaloc was
overwhelmed and gravely injured. He was left for dead and his family taken.
Having the accelerated healing of all shapeshifters, Ix Cuat Tlaloc followed
their trail but eventually came upon the bodies of his wife and children.
Overwrought with anger and sadness, Ix Cuat Tlaloc continued traking the
Spaniards, slowly picking them off one by one and exacting his revenge.
It wasn’t long after that he met Nizhoni and the two began traveling together.
Ix Cuat Tlaloc liked how the serpent inside of him reacted to the beautiful
Northern woman and he found himself quickly becoming enamored with her and
readily agreed to bind himself to her for eternity.
After becoming Nizhoni’s animal servant, Ix Cuat Tlaloc saw more of the world
than he knew existed and his infatuation with the vampiress blossoming into
love. He found that he would do anything for his Goddess and learned to read
and write when she asked it of him; he agreed to learn new languages and
quickly became well educated.
It was in London that Nizhoni finally had the chance to face one of her demons
and after a long battle, Anna Maria died at his Mistress’ hand. The two
returned to America then and after visiting Nizhoni’s native people, moved on
to Boston where they settled comfortably. Nizhoni opened a prestigious private
school and he remained her eyes and ears during daylight hours.
When Nizhoni was working to improve her control over her corruption, Loc – as
he was now calling himself – brought her victims and was pleased with her
ruthless bloodlust.
In 2007, Nizhoni challenged the Master of the City of Boston and, after a long
and bloody battle, became the new Master. Loc stands tall and loyal beside his
Mistress and will continue to serve until death finds both of them.
Strengths: Loc can heal through sex, and can use telepathy to communicate with
Nizhoni through their bonds as servant and master. He is stronger than average
lycanthropes, thanks to the bond as well. Normal alpha strengths.
Weaknesses: Loc’s bloodlust can drive him blindly. His resistance to silver
inflicted injuries is very low—much lower than a normal lycanthrope. He has a
jealous streak that can sometimes get in the way.
