| Personality: Highly sarcastic to the point of being
inappropriate. Tends to be snarky when he is annoyed
or pissed off. Has a hard exterior from living on the
streets. As for having a softer side, Keenan might be
avoiding that since it usually brought up by his
family. He understands violence and you generally
need to lay things out word wise because if you don’t
say that it is okay for him to do it. Even though
shape-shifters are comfortable being naked this is
something that you won’t see from him. Keenan rarely
recognized his past life as Cody Mansfield and
probably would disregard anyone if they confronted
him. There are moments that he dreams about Ike but
they are soon forgotten for he was literally melded to
be Keenan Dresden. Deep, deep down Keenan feels that
there is something that was amiss and he seeks to fill
the void with the union of being in a pard. Being a
part of a pard makes Keenan feel somewhat whole so he
will never risk his position in the pard even if it is
to cost him humiliation or severe punishment. When
involved in the pard, Keenan tries to tone down a bit
(if it is only one notch it’s fine by him) and at
times can be seen comfortable and at ease.
Family: Everett Dresden (Guardian father, alive),
Laura Dresden (Guardian mother, alive), Trent
Mansfield (Father, alive), Maria (Mother, alive), Ike
(Older brother, dead)
History: Cody was born as the youngest son to Trent
and Maria Mansfield. The family was portrayed as your
regular joe family until his parents decided to split
up. Trent took Ike to the States to follow up in his
footsteps while Cody (8 years old) was taken to
Western Canada with his mother, Maria. It was at this
time that one of Trent’s co-workers, Elliot Dresden,
was trying to cope with his son’s death and realized
that his wife’s state was much worse for wear. Due to
Elliot’s strong love for his wife he did something
that changed Cody’s life forever. It was known that
Cody had ran away at a young age but he was actually
abducted by Elliot Dresden, FBI Agent, and given to
his wife to ease her pain from her dead son. Cody’s
life was literally changed from this day on. Cody’s
name was changed, the Dresden’s moved to Los Angeles
and all of his past was forbidden and erased.
Confused, angry and hurt Keenan gave the Dresden’s a
run for their money. The uprising began not soon
after his 11th birthday causing Keenan to find an
outlet for his emotional state. He turned to a gang
lifestyle where he was in and out of juvenile hall.
The gang that he joined was a recruitment for shifters
involved in dealing illegal items. Hazing included
stealing, arson and the last being turned into a were
leopard. Keenan agreed and was determined to immerse
in his new gang. Keenan was 12 years old when he was
turned into a were leopard by the head gang member.
It was on the streets of LA and his new pard that
Keenan learned to live by the rules set by the world
of vampires and shifters. Keenan was impressionable
accepting practically anything in order not to return
to his father Elliot Dresden. Several years following
Keenan remained in his new pard and gang exceeding in
strength and moving upwards in the ranks of weapons
dealing. Unfortunately Keenan was forcibly returned
back into Elliot’s custody at the age of 16 and the
family moved across to NYC, in which Elliot hoped to
restart the family bonds. Keenan was adaptable and
tried to concentrate on family for a year but he could
see that it would never work. Taking his life into
his own hands, Keenan broke away from the Dresden’s
and began to take on weapons dealing onto himself. It
was NYC a prime target for his inner criminal to
thrive and within a year he decided to move away from
New York and scout newer territory. At 19 he moved to
Boston hoping to open up his unsavoury business and
delete any opposing dealers.
Strengths: Dirty street fighting with gun and knife
fighting, if you want something blown up or burnt to
the ground he can probably arrange it. He makes sure
that he remains invisible when it comes to his
criminal activities and he ALWAYS wears gloves.
Because he keeps in top physical condition he has lots
of stamina and speed. Due to his unsavoury lifestyle
he has learned to be stealthy.
Weaknesses: His family issues are a weakness, and he
refused to talk about them. Can get carried away with
violence.
Other: Nobody knows yet that Keenan Dresden is
actually Cody Mansfield. He looks exactly like Ike
Mansfield but he doesn’t acknowledge that there is a
connection.
