1. Follow the rules, and obey the Owner/GM.

2. Always respect rule number one.

3. No fighting or arguing on site. Keep it private. If you cannot reach an understanding between yourselves, feel free to go to the owner/GM and she WILL straighten it out.

4. ORIGINAL CHARACTERS ONLY!!! No characters from the original Anita Blake books can be played. Be creative, everyone!

5. I am allowing sex scenes and violence scenes. Obviously, I don't want this to turn into an erotica group, but since we're all adults here, I won't limit you to what you can and can't post. That said, I expect any sex scenes to be CLEARLY labeled as such so no one has to read it if they don't want to. On the opposite end of the spectrum, please don't feel like you HAVE to write out a sex scene if you don't want to. If you're more comfortable closing the curtains then, by all means, do so.
The same goes for violence. If things are getting squicky, put a label on it or feel free to fade to black when writing it.

6. Your character is not God. You post for your character and let the other person post their character's reaction. DO NOT control someone else's character. You will get three warnings for this, before I boot you.

7. You can have 1 character to start with and after a one month grace period I will grant you another, should you want it. No more than three characters. If you're playing three characters, I expect them each to be played as much as you would play only one. Don't sit one of your characters up on a shelf if you're busy with the others.

8. I must approve your CIS before I allow it to be posted. Also, you cannot add something major into your characters CIS without prior approval. For example: if you want to say that your character dyed their hair, feel free to change your CIS to reflect this. Something minor like that is not something that will effect the general RP. If you're playing with the idea of giving your character a new ability or having them get pregnant/father a child (or any other major event) it must be approved by the owner/moderator first.

9. Absolutely NO flaming!!!

10. You must post at least once a week with at least a five line post. If the RP starts moving faster than this, then I will gladly change the posting limit to accommodate it.

11. If you're going to be gone for any length of time, PLEASE tell someone. If you don't reply to something within a week, I will email you. If I don't hear from you within a few days (probably 2) I will move your character and you will get a warning. After that, you will get two more warnings (providing this was your first mess up) and if I don't hear from you, your character WILL be killed off.

12. When you join, and I send you the welcome message, you have one week to get back to me. Even if it's just an email back saying hello. If you do not reply in a week, you will be booted. Plain and simple. This RP is for active members, I will not have my ranks being taken up by people who don't even have the decency to get back to me.

13. Guys, remember, you're playing characters here. If someone's character does something to your's don't hold it against the person playing the other character. We want everyone to get along, so don't hold a grudge because of something that happened IC.

14. You do not have the right to kill someone's character without their approval. This goes for the GM also. BUT DO NOT put your character in an impossible situation where they can't come out of it alive. If something like that happens, your character will be killed and you will have to make a new one. I follow the "3 strikes...You're Out" policy. If the rules are not followed then you will be given two more chances, and after that if you break a rule again, you will be immediately removed from the group. I reserve the right to change or add rules at any time.
