| Personality: Jack is very much at ease with his beast. After being infected for 24 years, he knows his beast through and through and is in full control of it. He’s very protective over the wolves, especially after they lost so many to the plague, and sometimes he has to force himself to relax a bit when it comes to pack business. He’s a very outdoorsy person and likes working with his hands. He’s a good-natured guy, but has no problem dealing out punishment in the pack wherever it’s needed. Jack’s the kind of guy who always wanted a family of his own, but although he still hopes for that, he’s kind of let go of that dream and instead a lot of his focus goes on his work and the pack. Those two are the two biggest factors in his life right now.

History: Jack’s been living in Boston all his life. His younger sister, Cara, was born when Jack was nine and although they were never extremely close due to the age-difference, Jack immediately took on the role as protective older brother. Jack was always an active person. He loved being outdoors, playing sports and doing things with his own hands. He got into construction pretty early on, mostly working during the summers.
When he was 16 Jack was infected with lycanthropy when he got into a fight with an older guy from his school who was a werewolf. Keeping his infection secret from his family, Jack pulled back into a shell, shutting his family out not wanting them to know what he was. As soon as he finished High School, Jack got a job on a small construction crew and moved out of his parents’ place.
When he was 24, his sister found out about his infection and took it with ease. She tried to convince him to tell their parents but although he was relieved Cara had taken the news so well, he wasn’t ready to let his parents know about that part of him.
When he was 31, Jack was made foreman at the construction company he, and the pack’s Ulfric Sean, worked for at the time. Around the same time, he managed to reach the position of Skoll in the pack. However, he was soon beaten by Lucy and took on the position of Hati instead.
At 34, Jack met Jun, a local wererat and the two hit it off immediately. They had an intense relationship and Jack fell in love, but it ended after only a couple of months due to differences of opinions regarding the amount of violence in the pack. Their breakup sent Jack into a dark period where he spent most of his time drinking and picking fights.
His destructive behavior came to an end right before he turned 35 when Cara’s ex-boyfriend Kian, a werewolf, killed their parents and infected Cara in a jealous rage. The situation hit Jack hard, but he was forced to pull it together for Cara’s sake. Kian was found and Jack killed him at the following Lupanar.
Trying to not let his natural protectiveness over Cara get tangled up in the pack politics proved hard for Jack, but he eventually managed it. By this time, Jack had reached the position of Skoll in the pack.
Over the next few years Jack got together with Jun again, but once again it didn’t work out. They tried being friends, then tried just having casual sex now and again, then tried a relationship again, but in the end, they settled on just being good friends and it’s been working for now.
When Sean was arrested and thrown in jail, Jack feared the pack would fall into disarray. But then Gia came in with a few of her wolves and took over. After some initial doubts from Jack’s side, he finally accepted her leadership. Still, it was not the same as having Sean in charge (especially after Alice decided to leave Boston with Billy) and Jack found himself going on regular visits to the jail.
When the shifter plague struck, it tore Jack up to see so many of the wolves die. In a way, though, it made the pack more close-knit the more their numbers lessened. In the past few years, Jack made his way up to the position of Freki.
Around his 39th birthday, Jack was offered to come on as co-owner of Local 7, the construction company he’d worked for over 10 years. Jack took the offer, but is more of a silent partner, remaining the foreman for one of the crews as he feels he belongs outside with the crew, doing the real labor.
Strengths: he’s very much at ease with himself and his beast, he’s much stronger than he looks (even for a lycanthrope), very protective (although in some cases that can become a negative), when he gives his word he stands by it.
Weaknesses: he has a hard time backing away from things even when he knows he should, on some rare occasions his protectiveness becomes a weakness for him, although his mood doesn’t shift as suddenly as it used to he still has some mood-swings from time to time.
Other: Jack’s a very trustworthy guy and probably one you’d want beside you in a tough situation.
