| Personality: Draven has lived a full life which hasn’t changed his demeanour much from when he was ‘changed‘. Dray knows how to love passionately and deeply. When in a good mood he will love those like he had never loved before, he knows how to cherish , adore, wine and dine. Though while his love is like some great fire it can turn quickly to that of anger and hate. He is truly one for the love hate relationship. Crossing him might end up with you dangling at the edge of regret and guilt. He is one for swift justice and retaliation. Draven will never dole out the punishment but will be there to watch to make sure you have seen the light of redemptions. His favorite saying is “I do this out of love’. Maybe in the long time future he will take a city but really he loves his freedom. The addition to his family is Trey whom somehow wormed his way into his life. Raising a child is new for him but there is a first time for everything.
Family: Piers Carrington (Father, dead), Lacey Carrington (Mother, dead), Trey Sterling (Alive)
History: 1821 Draven was born to a young loving couple in London, England. Here they prospered as jewellery makers. Draven led a normal life with the addition of being home schooled where he was taught French, Spanish and German. His father Piers was getting tired of London and on Draven’s 13th birthday the family uprooted and moved to Paris. Carrington’s name was well known as jewellers. With his father’s business sought out far and wide, Piers was offered to make jewellery for the Versailles royalty.
At 1837, the beginning of the Victorian Era, Draven was 16 and he became one of the favorites of the court of Versailles. He dallied with both sexes and Draven truly loved life. He spent two good years in court until the fatefull day of his parents death. It was one of his father’s jewellery patrons, Julien DuMont II that took him in. It was Julien’s idea to stash away Draven’s fortune that was passed on from his parents, because while Dray was apart of Julien’s family and kiss there was no need for providing for oneself. Besides Julien believed in saving for a rainy day. It turned out that the his father’s patron was the Master of the City of Paris. Due to Julien’s love for Draven, Julien asked Draven if he wanted to become a vampire. Draven agreed and on his 21st birthday, Draven’s life ended and his new life as a vampire began. Julien had loved his city and his kiss and he held Draven close to his heart.
The Paris’ kiss was known to be well bonded and the kiss was a family and it
was in all the vampires interest to help with the teachings of vampire life to Draven. Draven caught on fast and it was soon that his strength was building. Julien’s kiss flourished as well as his vampires. Draven’s newly found life and strength allowed him to continue to love what he did well…love and love passionately. Draven spent one century in Paris but it was Julien’s decision to send a few of his vampires across Atlantic to test out the waters. Just before Draven left in search for greener pastures, Julien had reminded Draven that he still had the fortune his parents had left him and that Dray should take it with him to help him with the big move.
In 1942, Draven and his friend, Marcelle, Master Vampire, moved and joined into the New York City kiss as an extension of Paris’ kiss. Still interested in the jewellery business, Draven had bought a store in NYC in order to continue his parents legacy and to help him along with the finances. Draven’s business flourished enough that thru time he had aquired two more stores which were aptly named Carrington Jewellers. Together both Draven and Marcelle prospered in the NYC kiss where Marcelle was happy enough to acquire a human servant, Adam Sterling. Marcelle’s servant was fortunate that he had a family because in 1997 Adam’s wife Helena Sterling had a son, Trey Adam Sterling. Draven was happy with being Marcelle’s friend but it soon changed for the worst. While both Draven and Marcelle were accommodating and friendly vampires, there were others in the NYC kiss that despised the outsiders. It came to one night that while Draven was servicing the Master of the City, that another Master Vampire had killed Marcelle’s human servant initially killing Marcelle. Draven returned to their joined quarters only to find Trey (4 years old) being the sole survivor of the murders of Marcelle, Adam and Helena Sterling.
Devastated Draven was allowed to join the Toronto kiss in order to allow him and Trey enough healing time so that the could return to NYC. Draven still had his stores in NYC that even though he was in Canada he was able to work from home and receive his earnings from the prosperous jewellery stores. While in Toronto, Draven had dipped his toes in the diamond business and by his fifth year in Canada he had bought one diamond drilling mine in northern Canada. By time 11 years came the Master of the City of NYC had decided that they could return to NY if they so choose but would understand that it would be too hard for Draven and Trey to return and instead gave them options. Draven choose Boston as it seemed to be somewhere in between NYC and Toronto. Easy medium was something that Draven could handle and Trey would be able to forget what happened back in NYC.
Strengths: He is a Master of the City follower and will fall easy in step when the time calls for it. He understands in order to survive he must follow in the times, which is why he fully understands what it is to be ‘up-to-date’. Has a knack for jewellery.
Weaknesses: As old as he is, Everett likes the young at heart whether it be male of female though he will never break the law. He was turned at 21 and he prefers lovers to be his peers, though if proposition he might ‘play’ with the older types just to throw in a few rarities.
Home: Boston Kiss Residence.
Other: Has taken Trey under his wing and is very protective of his friend, Marcelle’s son. Due to his extended family he had take on a day time guardian/teacher for Trey, Mason Ferguson.
