| Personality: Having led a disciplined life, Chase is capable of suppressing his emotions completely in order to do anything that has to be done. This sometimes makes him appear cold, but he's not incapable of emotion, just not used to showing it. Sometimes though, he can be caught smiling, and even laughing when he's comfortable around someone. It's a bit more difficult to tell when he'd mad though, because his stoniness will simply go up a few notches. His jaw will tighten up, and he might frown a bit, but that's the only warning you get. He's accustomed to having people follow his orders, and sometimes forgets that you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. He's good-hearted though, and fiercely loyal to those who earn his respect, or those whom he feels he has to protect.

History:An Army brat, Chase was born in Malaysia during the brief time that his dad was stationed there. He and his mom followed his dad all over the globe, hopping from one military base to the next and spending little time in one place. It made it difficult for Chase to make friends, but he did his best, and once he allowed himself to open up, he usually found a friend soon enough.
When he got older, his dad started drilling it into his head that life was nothing without discipline.
A Sergeant in the Army, the military was his dad's whole life, and it was obvious that he expected his son to follow in his footsteps. Chase had other plans however. During a brief stay in Washington in the early nineties, while his dad was stationed at Fort Lewis , he and a buddy went to Seattle to see the band Nirvana perform. Chase was instantly hooked, and had every album the band had ever made within the week. When his dad was again relocated, this time to Germany , 16-year-old Chase was angry and disappointed, as he'd come to love the Seattle grunge scene. That is, until he learned that Nirvana was doing a show in Munich. Scrounging up his money, he hitchhiked to Munich , and caught the show. It was wild, and he even let himself go to do a little moshing. When it was all over, he noticed a fairly deep scratch on his arm, almost like a claw had dragged across his skin. He didn't think anything of it however, until the next full moon. His dad was livid, sure that his son had caught the 'disease' by sharing needles. Chase had never touched drugs, but his dad was suspicious of 'those long-haired punks' that made up a large part of Nirvana's following. He sent Chase back to the US to live with his aunt and uncle in Ohio until he was 18.
From then, he spent most of his years working construction, rising to leopard lionne in the Cincinnati pard. Just recently, he received word that his mom had moved to Boston, after divorcing his dad. Pulling up his roots, he moved to Boston as well, to be close to his mom, and just to see a part of the country he hadn’t been to yet. When the shifter plague hit, he stayed, doing what little he could to help the pard. When Zahara joined the pard, there was an immediate connection between their beasts which both recognized. Their beasts seemed to immediately reach out to each other, making it feel right between them. The two became good friends (with occasional benefits) and when the former Nimir-Ra died, he fought to fill the position, and won. After a while, he approached Zahara with the suggestion that she be his Nimir-Raj. It made logical sense, as far as strengthening their decimated pard went, and of course there was the chemistry between their beasts. Zahara accepted, and the two decided to move in together. They got a 3-bedroom house, and they each have their own room, though more often than not they end up in Chase’s bed. The extra room they use for any pard member who needs a place to stay.
Strengths: Can partial shift and subdue with his aura. He’s on the ball with important decisions, and does everything with the pard in mind.
Weaknesses: Can be a bit single-minded, and isn’t good at asking others for their opinions. He is sometimes brusque, and doesn’t taken criticism well.
Other: Sees questioning of his orders as a direct challenge, except perhaps from Zahara.
