| Personality: Charlie enjoys anything that’s forbidden or wrong. He’s a troublemaker who will rarely back away from a fight on principle alone, even if he knows he’s going to lose. It seems to be his mission to corrupt as many people around him as possible and he has very few inhibitions. He likes the image of being a ‘bad boy’ that he has and will do nothing to prove people wrong on that point. He’s rash and hotheaded, but also fiercely loyal. If you gain his trust and respect you’re likely to have a very hard time losing that and he’ll pretty much walk through fire for you. He loves having a good time and cuts class as often as he attends (which certainly shows in his grades). Like so many teenage boys, his hormones are flying wild and he’s not above trying to talk a girl into having sex with him even if she doesn’t want to. He’d never physically force a girl to do that though.

History: Charlie was born as the second of two children to an unwed couple. His father left the family when Charlie was 3 and his mother worked 2 jobs to support family and didn’t have as much time to spend with Charlie and his brother as they might have needed. Charlie was always a bit of a troublemaker, getting into fights with other kids and pushing the limits. When Charlie was 13, his six years older brother, Colin, was killed in Iraq. Charlie had always looked up to Colin, so his death hit him very hard. Colin had been a pretty good kid and seemed to have been the only real stable influence in Charlie’s life, because when he died Charlie started acting out more, seeking out anything that was ‘wrong’ or forbidden.
At 14, he was out partying with some friends late at night and getting rowdy. After getting stoned, Charlie got into a fight with a random guy on the street. The guy turned out to be a shifter (a werecougar) and clawed Charlie up pretty bad. Charlie’s friends told the paramedics that a dog had attacked him. A sister of one Charlie’s friends had an ex boyfriend who was a shifter and she helped him get in touch with the right people. As there weren't really any other cougars in Boston (the guy who infected him was visiting from out-of-state), Charlie got in touch with the local leopards. After some initial struggle (the fact that he couldn’t control his beast at first was hard for him to handle), Charlie became somewhat at ease with the new addition in his life. Although he spends full moons with the leopards and occasionally hangs out with them, he’d not extremely social with them (although he does frequent Harvest Moon, seeing as how his age doesn’t seem to be much of an issue there).
At age 15, one of his friends brought him along to a freak party and after that he was hooked. He started going to freak parties on a regular basis and found himself as fairly sought-after coffin-bait because of his shifter blood.
Strengths: he has a fairly high threshold for pain, he knows how to look charming and innocent and uses this skill to get out of trouble, he’s fairly good at talking people into things.
Weaknesses: he doesn’t always think before he speaks, he lets his emotions get the best of him.
Home: A small two-room apartment with his mother. Charlie’s room is small, but he doesn’t spend a lot of time there anyway. The fire-escape outside his window allows for some much-needed privacy sometimes and is his favorite place in the apartment. He also grows some weed on the roof of the building, seeing as how no one ever really comes up there.
Other: After busting his ass working at a crappy pizza-place after school for a couple of years, Charlie recently had saved up enough money to buy an old beat-up car, which he has fixed up pretty nice / He’s a coffin bait and frequently goes to freak parties (all vampires are welcome to have fed off of him in the past)
