Raistlin:
Child to Darkmage
by Bryan
"B.K." Knowles
He was raised in sadness, darkness, despair
Yet he never shed a tear
His brother was his protector
Watching all who drew too near
His frail appearence, mutinous coverings
Hiding the strength, hidden inside
Manipulating others, planning deeds
His magic would be his salvation
And then the ice struck, an evil streak
Wrenching his soul, pouring water of the young flame
His brother was his servant, a dog meant to obey
In a hissing voice, he punished him, dealt him mental blows
The test that could prove lethal, it wrecked his body more
Hourglass pupils, golden skin, a lesson
The gash, it beacame deeper, out
of him, evil did pour
The war was fatal, consuming him in dark madness
Darkness was behind his every move
He let loose his hold on his slave, yet kept a gentle grasp
He then claimed what was his, the Master of Past and Present
His plan was to control the world, a seat among the gods
Yet his brother saved the world, stopped his wrath
Raistlin sacraficed himself, gave one last wish
But a loyal nephew came, rescuing his infamous uncle
Released a man, mentally changed
Raistlin walked Krynn with a new stride
And left with Paladine, god of good
His legacy was that of a mage, distrustful
Deathlike dreamer, dragon's dawn
Praying on a helpless fawn
Whispering wails, watching winds
Tearing our souls from deep within
Uncle
Tas
By Bryan "B.K." Knowles
I walked the road
I saw the sights
I met my friends
All in delight
The road, with it’s dust
The gem on the ring
Are all those things
Travel can bring
A stout old dwarf
A half-elf too
The warrior and his brother
Friends through and through
I fought on dragons
Helped win the war
Drank out of flask
Died once before
I came back All my friends were
Dead
And all of a sudden
There was a price on my head
So I am still wandering on
Chasing something
I’m a kender, thank goodness
And I’m glad to be me
