I did this costume because my friend Saber went as Vash. This was kinda thrown together at the last moment because I hadn't planned on going to Nekocon, then ended up going anyways. I decided, also, that it would be more fun to do the confessional rather then the cross. Had to do something semi-unique right? A lot of jokes spawned from that confessional as well.
As I said above, this costume was tossed together out of clothing I already owned, so there really wasn't much in the making of it. I wish that my shirt would have stayed tucked in though.
The only real work on the whole get-up was the confessional... which happens to be why I have a bandage on my right hand.
Ya see, when Saber and I were putting that thing together she put sewing shears right through my hand (the webbing between the thumb and forefinger). I almost passed out too, not because of the sight of blood,
It was a fun costume to do, and the confessional went over real well. I'd like to do this again, with a more detailed confessional, and see how many people I can get to confess... perhaps at Nekocon 2006...
