Wedding Yuna.  This has to be my favorite costume at the moment, and I would wear it to otakon, except that the train is so long, I'm afraid it would be stepped on / ripped. So this costume is now reserved for small - medium cons.

Anywho, I was tired of seeing so many gunner yunas, songstress yunas, and summoner yunas, so after watching my friends play FFX so many times, I decided to cosplay wedding yuna.

I think I spent roughly 40 hours (at least) on this costume... the wings alone took me 12 hours to do... and I did them in 12 hours straight one night (love the insomnia).

The dress is made of white cotton, since I wanted it to be light, and the body is lined with silk.
The feathers line the skirt and the side of the train until the train hits the floor. The train, by the way, is 5 feet long, which is about right, according to stats I've seen of the dress. I need to trim the stems on the roses, but I couldn't find my sheers (by the time I arranged my bouquet my apartment looked like a seamstress had exploded). The veil, tiara, and gloves were bought, due to lack of time (and in the case of the gloves, lack of skill).

This costume seemed to be a big hit at Tekkoshocon; a lot of people really seemed to like it. That made me glad, as it makes me want to tour it, which I plan to do, probably at nekocon 2005, Tekkoshocon 2006, and possibly Ohayocon, if I go to that.  ...though the wings will have to be re-made since by day three of Tekko the wire curving the wings snapped. XD
