In-depth Information
This is where you get to know me a little bit. I'm a 20 year old female (if the pic didn't give that away already) who has been into anime since I was about 13. I was introduced to the world of anime by three wonderful friends, Beth Ann, Heather, and Nikki-chan. That introduction? Not sailor moon, not DBZ, not Pokemon.  My first anime? Slayers NEXT, Record of Lodoss Wars, and El Hazard. When I jumped it, it was right to the deep end with me.  Since then I've been hooked and followed all sorts of series.

As of late the series I've followed have been Vandread, Fullmetal Alchemist, Fruits Basket, Slayers NEXT, D.N.Angel, and Naruto.  I've also followed a little bit of Jubei, Witch Hunter Robin, and Wolf's Rain, among other numerous series.

As far as hobbies go, I enjoy writing, singing, reading, hiking, rock climbing, singing, drawing, sewing, cooking, swimming, collecting faerie statues / art, painting...  hell the list goes on and on.  I'm a person who likes to try almost anything.
Personality wise, I tend to think of myself as being somewhat cold and very much aloof when I don't want to be around people. However, get me out into the world and I come off as very friendly, very attentive, and all around good person.  I don't like to see people hurt, especially my friends.  ...that's why not too many people cross my path... I can be a real bitch when my friends are in trouble.  Otherwise I'm just your average psychopath otaku! XD.

Family wise I'm one of eight children. I have six sisters and one brother.  One of those sisters is my Identical Twin (who goes by the nicknames of Yue and Nutmeg). I'm number four in the line up, and perhaps one of the oddest of the children, with maybe the exception of my youngest sister, who is stranger than even me (Go Kat!). Of the 8 children, only three, myself included, are into anime.

I've been cosplaying for about 4 years now, though my first anime convention wasn't until Nekocon 2003. I went to the con with our university's anime club and was hooked on conventions ever since. I refused to go to a convention without an anime convention, so I jumped right into anime cosplay (I'd done renfair cosplay for a year prior to my first anime convention) and started out by making a Misato costume and helping my twin and my friend Saber with their costumes (Miroku and Rei).  I've been sewing costumes ever since.
