Well, I think it makes for a good webpage topic, anyway...
SO, WHY THE HECK NOT???
Corey Hart has been performing since the early 80's. YES-- we love him for his beautiful songs and wonderful personality(COREY IF YOU READ THIS DON'T GO GETTING A BIG HEAD!!!). But his public image has often been as big as the man himself.
In the 80's Corey Hart quickly became Canada's reigning TEEN-IDOL. With his boyish good looks and pouty expression, girls swooned left and right!! And who could blame them?? Well, gosh-darn, he truly was adorable!!(AND STILL IS!!)
This teen-idol label was hard for Corey to deal with. As a teenager, he was very involved in his own musical pursuits, and as a result wasn't what he considered POPULAR. He didn't have a lot of girlfriends in high school(although he met his first wife Erika while still in high school), and the sudden wave of female attention was to say the least OVERWHELMING. The most amazing thing is that unlike so many young, successful performers--Corey never really let the fame go to his head. To this day he remains modest and unassuming about his own talents. But he is proud of his accomplishments as well he should be.

That wonderful, spiky creation!!! I have to admit I like Corey's hair short. I know that when he grew it long a few years back that there was quite a split opinion. Some people insisted the long hair was a sexy, modern update.
But the majority of fans I have spoken to agree with me and together we were thrilled to see that he had cut it short again prior to his 1999 tour !!
