Lucky for us, he came back to Canada as a teenager with his family. He is very close with his mom and his siblings. His parents divorced when he was 11 years old and his father moved to the Bahamas. Corey often spent Christmas in that sunny locale and has now moved there permanently to raise his young family.
He has three adorable daughters. India Hart was born July 8, 1995. His second daughter Dante was born Dec 23, 1997. Corey and his wife--the lovely and talented Quebec singer Julie Masse-- welcomed their third little bundle of joy into the world on November 18, 1999. Little River Hart weighed a healthy 8lbs 3 oz at birth and like most babies--insisted on being born in the middle of the night!!
That's THREE GIRLS for Corey and Julie. Perhaps a baby brother in the years to come...
Corey adores his kids. I cant imagine a better father. The sun literally shines from his face when he speaks about his "angels".
God Bless him and his darling family always!!

COREY IS TOTALLY AMAZING IN CONCERT!
I'm obviously a great fan of Corey's. That much you have probably guessed by now. I cant express adequately in mere words how the gift of his music has affected my life.
When things seem very dark--it is like a light shining in the darkness...
He seems to speak my pain with his words. I know that others share in this belief.
Corey is a very unique person. He is possibly the most GENUINE person I have ever known there to be. He also has a pretty wicked sense of humour. I can't personally think of anyone else I'd rather sit down and laugh along with...
Except maybe my Dad, who passed away in January of 1994. It seems like a lifetime since I have heard his laugh and seen his silly grin. Come to think of it, Corey reminds me of my father in a lot of ways. He is kind, caring and devoted to his family. Those are the qualities that I admire most. That and that wicked sense of humour, of course!!
It is so hard for me to choose any one song as "my favorite". Corey's music is a "body of work" and it flows with each song being special in its' own turn.
If I had to choose--I think that "BLIND FAITH" is the song that means the most to me.
...."through Fields of Fire, I am reborn. Desperately I raise my fist and smash it through the stone..." well you know the rest!!
I also like to listen to a lot of the songs not on the regular albums. Hymn To Love, Original Aim, Hold On....the list goes on and on!
So many songs---so little time!!!
