(Corey had a great admiration for her talent)
SO MANY LOVESONGS TO CHOOSE FROM...
The album "ATTITUDE & VIRTUE" is one of my favorites. It is filled with beautiful lovesongs. One of them "BABY, WHEN I CALL YOUR NAME" is a song which Corey originally wrote back in high school about him and then girlfriend Erika Gagnon.
When he was writing the songs for his 6th album the song just kind of "came back" to him. He reworked the lyrics a little--but the melody was just one of those TIMELESS things...
Well, "BABY" went on to become a hit single--and a truly beautiful LOVESONG. It is basically the story of Corey and Erika--a 14 year long romance that started when they were teenagers. They had just gotten married when Corey rewrote and released this song...
Although they have since parted--this ballad will always remain a classic LOVE story...

The couple split in 1994 but still remain friends. Corey now makes his life with his partner Julie Masse and their three young daughters
Corey has said in interviews that he was "lucky enough to fall in love with two women in his life--and they are both ANGELS...
(we agree!!! they are both very lovely ladies!!)
COREY acknowledges both his ex-wife Erika and his newfound love Julie on his 7th album(self-titled) released in 1996 Sony Records Ltd.
COREY has three OTHER little ANGELS---his daughters INDIA, DANTE and RIVER. I would love to put pictures on this site(because they are sooo cute!!!)--but must respect COREY's wishes with regard to his privacy. He has allowed some footage of his daughters on a few interview segments--but not often!!!

It is JULIE's BIRTHDAY!!!
During Corey's recent tour he would sing this song on stage to Julie(who was touring with him as a backup singer).
A little hand-holding and a sweet kiss and the audiences were cheering. Who could resist such a ROMANTIC gesture??? Aaaawwwww...
