The CAT who loved COREY HART!
(YES!! That would be my little Sara!!)

Sara is my little brown tabby.  She is very special to me.  Sara's story started out a sad one...
She was abandoned in the coldest part of the wintertime, and left to die.  When I found her she was nearly frozen and starving.  She was pregnant, but her kittens did not live.  She was in such poor shape that she could barely keep herself alive!!  She jumped up into my arms--literally took a "Leap of Faith".  From that moment on she has been close to my heart.
She is sweet, cuddly, funny and NEVER, NEVER does anything wrong!!!
When she first came to our home, she was so afraid of being left alone that she needed to always be in physical contact with us.  She routinely comes running up to us for kisses and cuddles!!!.
She has since gotten over her fear of abandonment.  She makes us laugh with her playful antics, and she "takes care" of my two senior cats who finally decided that they loved her just as much as we do!!
What does ANY of this have to do with COREY HART???
WELL, let me tell you...

Sara has VERY SPECIFIC tastes when it comes to music!!!

Whenever I put on a Corey Hart CD, Sara will come and cuddle up close to me.  She will turn her head toward the music, close her eyes and PURR like a freight train!!!

When Sara hears other artists, she is much more critical!!  A while back, there were TV ads for an upcoming music special featuring Reba McIntyre.  Now I personally think Reba is very talented(although I am not really into country music).  But Sara honestly did not like her voice!!  What can I say??
Every time Reba started to sing , Sara would shake her head from side-to-side, give me a look of profound consternation, and then very pointedly LEAVE the room! Sorry about that, Reba!

Well, I thought this had to be just a coincidence at first.  But she did the SAME thing every single time.  She will do this any time she does not like a singer/song.  I  have no idea how I wound up with a cat who is also an outspoken music critic.

Her favorite song is "INDIA", the lullaby Corey wrote for his first daughter even before she was born.  Sara really loves this song when Corey sings it.  One time, however, I started singing along to the CD and went quite OFF-KEY!!!  So what did Sara do?
She shook her head, gave me THAT look---and left the room.  Her meaning was clear--I was ruining her FAVORITE song!!!  I almost died laughing!!  So she really is a pretty good music critic!!

AND she definitely gives COREY four paws up!!!

Me and my Sara--who we affectionately have nick-named "SNUDGE" !!!
