The Phantom of the Opera - Second Longest Running Show on Broadway (Now a Motion Picture)
I had known that The Phantom of the Opera was a book, several movies, and a musical when I first picked it up at my school's library last winter. The only thing I really knew about it was a vague rememberance of an episode of Wishbone, so I entered the strange world of the Opera Ghost with pretty much no biased. I think that it's a very good thing I did, and I encourage everyone to read the book before seeing the musical. The book is on the "Must Read Book List," here, and it's just a fantastic story.
