My Darkened Soul
Frustration overwhelming
mind breaking down
eyes filling with tears.
Myself shutting down,
unable to comprehend it anymore.
Filled with anger and frustration,
unable to do anything
without hurting everyone else
and losing everything.
I fear myself,
afraid that I will hurt everyone,
everyone I love
and end up alone again.
Alone again in the dark
unable to feel love
to feel hurt
to feel the pain,
the pain that used to crash over me.
Immune to the light,
I still hide from it
afraid to embrace it.
Afraid to face myself,
I will remain forever in the dark,
in my darkened soul.
