--Type: This is obvious.
--Moves : The attacks the Pokémon learns. Sometimes these are different in Yellow.
I do not think I have found all of these yet.
If a Pokémon evolves, it keeps the attacks it knows. The info for evolved forms is for if they were captured in that form.
--Strength : The Attack, Defense, Speed, Special and HP of the Pokémon at level 100 (in that order).
I have taken an average of three Pokémon. Yours will be more powerful than the ones on this page because all of these were captured at level 100.
The uses I suggest for this information are comparing the strength of two species of Pokémon, or to find out if a particular species has, for example, high Defense.
Please remember that these are only average numbers, and are not perfectly accurate.
There is a lot of variation between different Pokémon of the same species.
--Level Up : How fast the Pokémon grows. "«" means that the Pokémon is an evolved form, so the formula is the same as for the previous Pokémon.
For those who really want to know -
normal : y = x³
fast : y = (4/5) x³
slow : y = (5/4) x³
complex: y = (6/5) x³ - 15x² + 100x - 140
where x = the level to be reached and y = the total EXP needed to reach that level (the Pokémon's current EXP + EXP still needed to Level Up)
--Area : Where to find the Pokémon. If I have only typed a place name, you can catch as many of the Pokémon as you like there.
If I have typed "catch one" or "given one", there is only one in each game.
There are only five Moon Stones in each game, so unless you cheat, Pokémon you can only get with Moon Stones are limited.
There are opportunities to trade inside the game. Some Pokémon can only be got this way, and you will only get one of each.
All Pokémon got this way have stupid nicknames that cannot be changed.
Sometimes you must choose a Pokémon. In each game you can only get one of the choices.
"Special" means that you can't get it if you play normally.
