Gryphon Designs
Several years ago. . .
My good friend Bec O. taught me how to crochet. I picked the skill of crocheting
up pretty easily, though I must say I still have problems reading patters. ::grin::
Since then I have crocheted many gifts for friends and family, but recently I
decided to start putting my creations out for public consumption.
Green Hooded Scarf
This is an original design I came up with. I wanted a scarf that was wide enough
to wear as a hood during the very cold weather, but that wasn't so wide it was
too cumbersome to wear. This scarf can also be worn as a muffler or slip-knot
style.
Red Hooded Scarf
This is the same design as the Green Hooded Scarf, just in a deep cranberry.
In Progress Hooded Scarf
This is the hooded scarf in-progress, in a muted heather.
Mufflers
My neck tends to get very cold in the winter, plus I'm a singer so I need to make
sure I'm keeping warm, and I love wearing cozy mufflers.
"Dr. Who" style Scarf
This is another original design. It was a commissioned piece for someone who wanted
a "Dr. Who" style scarf in purple and green. It's at least 11 feet feet long,
and incredibly warm.
Lap Blankets
This lap blanket was commissioned by the same person who wanted the "Dr. Who"
scarf, again in a purple and green patter.
Pocket Scarf
I hadn't seen very many pocket scarves, and I really wanted one, so I made one.
I find they're very useful, and they keep your hands warm! This one was a commissioned
piece done in chenille.
Most recently I started sewing again, and created a design for a simple, yet very
use satchel. (pictures coming soon)
Everything I make is done by hand, and all the materials used in the creating
of my designs are very high quality. I am currently taking orders for holiday
