Words to live by!
You see, it says in Galatians 3:13 "CHRIST has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made accursed for us: for it is written (in Deut.21:23b), cursed is everyone that hangs on a tree."
JESUS took ALL our curses as well as ALL our sins and nailed them on that tree (the Cross) that HE hung upon at Calvary's mount.
Isaiah 61: 3b says it quite nicely
It is a ministry of CARE, COMPASSION, KINDNESS and CONCERN.
One bringing the LOVE of JESUS to those that are hurting and indigent, the infirm,
the elderly and to those who are less fortunate in these latter days.
The WORD of The LORD gives us an excellent prescription for how our actions must be, JESUS said, in the Book of Matthew 25:35,36,40
"For I was hungry...you gave me meat...thirsty, and you gave me drink
...a stranger, and you took me in...naked, and you clothed me,
...I was sick, and you visited me:...in prison, and you came to me.
Verily, verily(or surely, surely) I say unto you, inasmuch as you have done it unto to those the least of my brethren, you have done it to me."
In Galatians 6:2, Paul is quoted as saying:
"Bear one another's burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ."
Our Mission is to assist in the mobilization of ALL peoples toward a common goal of concern for one another, one of care, one of kindness, ones of consideration and compassion, one that displays the character of
OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.
As HE did. we will not promote either 'elitism, ecumenism nor denominationalism.
Rather, it is intended to be an outreach toward ALL peoples, regardless of racial or cultural barriers.
It is a COMMITMENT to pray, diligently, for one another and to worship the Triune GOD, in SPIRIT and TRUTH, with one mind and in one accord for the GLORY of HIM, who after all,...IS
the Author and the Finsher of our FAITH.
It is a commitment to restore (as much as we are able) minkind's integrity, peace, honor, joy and purity through selfless acts of unwarranted generosity.
In order for this generation to stand before a JUST SAVIOUR, this, WE (each of us) must attempt to do.
HE has directed us to do so in HIS WORD.
