| Musical Learner (50): What a shock. I got a score of 50 for "musical learner. This means that I like to sing, hum, listen to music, probably play an instrument, and are most likely good at noticing/picking up/remembering tunes and rhythms. It also means that I learn best by rhythm, melody, and music. This is very true. I have been singing since I can remember, and I have been playing the violin for eight years. I usually walk around singing to myself or humming. When I'm bored or nervous I tap my feet or fingers in rhythm. If I'm in a bad mood or have feeling I need to get out I express them through music. My friends and I will often sit around and sing/play together or participate in music festivals. So yes. Of course I scored highest In the music category. Spatial Learner (36): This means that I like to draw, build, create things, daydream, look at pictures, and watch movies. It also means that I'm good at imagining things, sensing changes, reading maps, and that I learn best by visualizing, dreaming, "using the mind's eye", and working with color or pictures. I've always loved to create art, be it drawing, ceramics, or building sculptures out of salt and pepper shakers in restaurants. I love to walk around in art museums, watch movies, and watch other people make art. Interpersonal Learner (36): As an interpersonal learner I like to have lots of friends and talk to people. I'm supposedly good at understanding people, leading, organizing, mediating, communicating, and the like. It also says that I learn best by charing comparing, relating, and interviewing. I do love people (usually), and I love to communicate and work with others. I tend to be a mediator and phychiatrist for my friends, so I have to keep up on my communication skills. I love to share with people, and I don't usually hold back much. I consider myself to be very open and I think of people as being basically good, with certain exceptions. Bodily/Kinesthetic Learner (35): Bodily/kinesthetic learners are said to enjoy moving around, touching, and talking using body language. We learn best by touching, moving, interacting with space, and are usually good at physical activity and crafts. I'm not a very athletic person, but I did dance once upon a time. And I was an equestrian until about a year ago. I do use my body when I talk, especially my hands, to emphasise what I say. Linguistic Learner (34): Linguistic learners like to read, write, and tell stories. They are good at memorizing names, places, dates, etc. They learn best by seeing/hearing/seeing words. I'm surprised that I didn't score higher on this, since I read in my spare time. I love books. And I write a lot- usually poetry, sometimes other kinds of creative writing. I love to use words and manipulate them to express certain things. Reading and memorizing words are definitely strong points of mine, which is useful when I'm in a play and trying to learn my lines within just a few weeks (heh). Intrapersonal Learner (34): Again, I'm surprised that I scored lower on this. Intrapersonal learners are said to like working alone, and are good at understanding themselves, focusing on inward feelings, following instincts, and being original. They learn best when they work alone on individualized projects with self-paced instruction and have their own space. I think that I'm pretty darn good at understanding myself, and I do have very strong instincts/intuition. I consider myself to be pretty original, and I do like to work alone sometimes. Although, when given a choice, I'll usually choose to work with others. Naturalistic Learner (31): My next-to-lowest score was as a naturalistic learner. Huh. This is odd. I love to be outside and interact with my surroundings. Indeed, all the qualities listed here are ones that I have. I do learn well when I study nature and learn how things work. This will be good for chemistry, since we do learn how stuff works most of the time. Or at least try to... Logical/Mathematical Learner (30): I'm not a big fan of math. In fact, I usually try to avoid it. I can work well with it and have a pretty good sense of logic, but I don't enjoy it. I like to do experiments and find patterns in everyday things, but I usually find visual patterns, not mathematical ones. In short, I will learn best in chemistry if Mr. Perrin sings a lot, draws pretty pictures, has lots of labs to do, and doesn't do too much with math. Math is no fun. It has no friends. So there it is, folks. That's how I learn. In conclusion, I am- a friend, a musician, an actor, a creative being, a writer, a force, a human, an entertainer, a thinker, a hopeless romantic, a daughter, a sister... I AM A PASSIONATE ARTIST you have no friends! go home! |
