When Davy is not busy touring, he races and trains horses. Davy is a registered jockey and back in February, 1996 competed and won in a race with his horse Digpast. Davy's more recent TV appearances include: " I've Got a Secret", a commercial on ESPN and an appearance on Fox News, Fox & Friends, Live With Regis & Kelly, a VH-1 special and an informercial for Time Life Music.
One of Davy's proposed projects for a few years now was been the opening of his own Rock n' Roll Museum in PA, near his home. The building, prior to Davy purchasing it, was an old Methodist church. The museum will not just focus on the Monkees, but will include exhibits on other groups that have not made the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame yet, such as K.C. & the Sunshine Band. Unfortunately, the museum does not have a confirmed opening date. It will posted here as soon as we get the word!
