| ->Cait turning her attention fully upon Seiran and Semisse once more, she looks to them one and then the other as she says, "Seiran and Semisse, know now that since your lives have crossed, you have formed ties between each other. The promises you make today and the ties that are bound here will cross the years and will greatly strengthen your union. With full awareness, know that you declare your intent to be handfasted before your friends and family. Do you still seek to enter this ceremony?" Isidora whispers to Sinjin. Syogen smiles at Seiran happily, nodding Sinjin whispers to Isidora. You say, "We wish to enter" > ->Isidora reaches down and picks up Sinjin, grunting a bit at the effort and hoists him onto her shoulders so he can see. ->Seiran clears his throat slightly, and says, "We wish t'enter" Sinjin grins Cait smiles brightly Cait asks, " Who here gives this woman to this man?" Syogen exclaims loudly, "I DO!" Syogen waves vigorously ->Lorna jumps slightly Syogen says, "I mean... I do..." You stifle a giggle > Briyon chuckles softly Syogen twiddles his thumbs ->Cait smiles warmly as she addresses the pair, "I bid you look into each others eyes." ->Aggykat flatens her ears Amerys smiles softly Taren chuckles quietly ->Seiran looks up into Semisse's eyes, smiling very brightly > ->Semisse turns slightly so she can look into Seiran's eyes, smiling tenderly > ->Syogen watches Semisse and Seiran, choking back tears with a series of coughs Taren grins mischievously Taren nods at Bellia Syogen sniffles Syogen tells you exclaiming: Go for it, Semmy! I love you, always! ->Cait turns her gaze to Semisse as she asks, "Semisse, will you honor him?" You tell Syogen: I love you too sweetheart > You say, "I will" > ->Syogen bites his lips as he fights back tears of happiness as he watches Syogen whimpers ->Cait shifts her weight as she turns to face Seiran now, her eyes on him as she asks, "Seiran, will you honor her?" ->Briyon pulls his knees to his chest, resting his chin on them, watching the scene curiously, his face concentrated Seiran says, "I will" > ->Cait looking again at the pair, her eyes moving to look at one and then the other, "Will you both seek never to give cause to break that honor?" > ->Seiran nods softly, "Yes" ->Semisse nods as she speaks softly, "Yes" > ->Cait smiles as her voices lifts slightly, speaking with authority she says, "And so the binding is made. Join your hands." ->Semisse slips her hands into Seiran's gently, squeezing his fingers softly > ->Seiran takes Semisse's hands in his, smiling very softly ->Cait draws forth the first of the cords, draping it over the couple's hands and forming a small knot. Cait gives a silken seaweed cord to Seiran. ->Faylen smiles at Roviden before turning her attention back to the couple, beaming. Cait asks, " Semisse, will you share his dreams?" You say, "I will" > Cait asks, "Seiran, will you share her dreams?" Seiran says, "I will" Cait asks, " Will you both dream together to create new realities and hopes?" ->Arturo sighs softly. ->Arturo drops a few flowers and moves over to Amerys. Seiran says, "Yes" ->Semisse nods slowly, clearing her throat slightly to manage speaking, "Yes" > ->Syogen covers his mouth wit his free hand as he cries softly for the couple ->Cait smiles as she draws forth a second cord, "And so the binding is made." She gently drapes the second cord over their hands, tying it gently around them. ->Bellia squints her eyes at Syogen before looking back to the couple. Cait gives a silken seaweed cord to you. ->Cait turns her eyes back to Semisse and with a smile asks, "Semisse, will you share his laughter?" Amerys smiles softly and puts an arm around Arturo You say, "Yes" > ->Semisse clears her throat softly, "I will" > ->Cait smiles softly at Semisse and turns back to Seiran, "Seiran, will you share her laughter?" ->Lorna smiles softly and sighs Seiran says, "I will" Syogen nods at Seiran with tears in his eyes Syogen sniffles Cait asks, "Will both of you look for the brightness in life and the positive in each other?" Seiran says, "Yes" ->Semisse nods, smiling softly, "Yes" > ->Aggykat trys hard not to cry as she continues to watch from her spot away from everyone else Cait asks, "Semisse, might you ever burden him?" ->Syogen smiles at Aggykat from his spot, his eyes blood-shot and tear-streamed and waves You say, "I might..." > ->Arturo stares at Syogen for a moment before leaning on Amerys. Cait asks, "Is that your intent?" ->Aggykat waves back at her dad still trying not to cry You say, "No" > Cait asks, "Seiran, might you ever burden her?" Seiran says, "I might..." ->Creighann brushes her tail against pakka's arm and smiles softly watching the pair > Cait asks, "Is that your intent?" ->Seiran shakes his head slightly, "No" ->Isidora adjusts her hat and peers at Sinjin, murmuring, "Dun squish it" under her breath. ->Lorna rubs her eyes Sinjin grins at Isidora ->Cait glances between Seiran and Semisse as she asks, "Will you both share the burdens of each so that your spirits may grow in this union?" Seiran says, "Yes" ->Semisse squeezes Seiran's hands gently, nodding, "Yes" > ->Syogen just breaks down, sobbing uncontrolably as he watches Seiran and Semisse hold hands and smiling, hugging himself gently ->Aggykat bites her lip Briyon peers at Syogen ->Cait smiles brightly as she says, "And so the binding is made." Draping the fourth cord over Seiran and Semisse's hands, knotting it as each of the previous three. Cait gives a silken seaweed cord to you. Cait asks, "Semisse, might you ever cause him pain?" You say, "I might..." > Cait asks, "Is that your intent?" ->Semisse shakes her head gently, "No" > ->Amerys puts his arm back around Arturo Cait asks, "Seiran, might you ever cause her pain?" ->Seiran smiles faintly, "I might..." Cait asks, "Is that your intent?" Seiran says, "No." Cait asks, "Will you both share each other's pain and seek to ease it?" ->Seiran nods and smiles at Semisse, "Yes" ->Semisse gazes into Seiran's eyes lovingly as she answers softly, "Yes" > ->Arturo rests his head back on Amerys. ->Cait nods quietly, her lips curved into a smile, placing the fifth cord over their hands knotting it gently as she speaks, "And so the binding is made." Syogen sniffles Cait gives a silken seaweed cord to Seiran. Lorna smiles gently ->Cait addresses Semisse as she asks, "Semisse, might you ever cause him anger?" ->Aggykat bites her lip obviously having trouble not crying ->Briyon moves slightly to run a hand over his face and then returns to his stone still position You say, "I might..." > ->Cait nods her head as she asks, "Is that your intent?" ->Semisse smiles quietly and shakes her head, "No" > ->Cait speaks now to Seiran, "Seiran, might you ever cause her anger?" ->Seiran grins very slightly, "I very well might" Cait asks, "Is that your intent?" ->Seiran shakes his head, "No" ->Cait gazes at Seiran and Semisse, her voice calm and clear as she asks, "Will you together take the heat of anger and use it to temper the strength of this union?" Seiran says, "Yes" ->Semisse smiles softly, "Yes" > Taren grins at Bellia ->Bellia snickers softly as she grins to Taren. Lorna nuzzles Ragna affectionately Syogen boggles at the concept of you Cait says, "And so the binding is made." ->Cait places the sixth and final cord upon the hands of the couple, binding it as she has the rest, her eyes move between the two them as she speaks, "The knots of this binding are not formed by these chords, but rather by your vows. For as always, you hold in your own hands the making or breaking of this union." Cait asks, "You have vows now that you wish to speak to one another?" ->Syogen blinks at the layers of seaweed around Seiran and Semisse's hands and wonders how they will get out of the binding... You nod > Syogen hmms Seiran nods ->Seiran squeezes Semisse's hands gently, then speaks quietly, "Semisse, this morning of our life together, I've spoken my vows to you. Now, I have one more vow t'make to you. It's a promise I've made to you, in our past, an' a vow I make to you, now, as part of our marriage. My love, I vow to keep every vow I've made t'you t'night, t'keep the promises I've made to you in the months that we've been together. -This- is my vow, to you, as my love, as my wife." He finishes and smiles, gazing at Semisse lovingly. Syogen exclaims loudly, "Yeah, Seiran!" ->Syogen clears his throat Syogen twiddles his thumbs Briyon peers at Syogen Briyon mutters under his breath Faylen beams at Seiran ->Creighann touches Pakka's wrist then hers and looks up to the couple once again smiling softly ->Seiran blinks slightly and grins faintly at Syogen before looking back to Semisse ->Arturo stares at Syogen, his eyebrow raised. ->Aggykat flatens her ears at her dads loud noise again ->Taren glances at Syogen with a slight grin ->Semisse smiles softly, her eyes misting with tears as she speaks slowly, her voice firm with her love, "There is not much I can say, during such a precious moment in my life, except that I love you, Seiran. With all of my heart, all of my mind, all of my body, and all of my soul, all of my honesty, all of my loyalty, all of my devotion. From this day forward until the rest of my life, I vow to walk at your side as your wife, your companion, and your friend. What ever trials we face, we face them together, husband and wife. One life, one love, one union." > ->Faylen blinks a couple of times as she smiles at Semisse's words. ->Seiran bites his trembling lip, blinking quickly as his eyes tear up slightly ->Arturo smiles softly and winks at Seiran. ->Cait removes the chords from the hands of Seiran and Semisse, her eyes twinkle as she smiles brightly at them, pronouncing them husband and wife as the cords fall away. Cait says, "Your gift to each other for your wedding today will be your wedding rings - which shall always be an outward demonstration of your vows of love and respect; and a public showing of your commitment to each other." Cait says, "You now have what remains the most honorable title which may exist between a man and a woman - the title of "husband" and "wife." For your first gift as husband and wife, that gift will be a single rose." ->Aggykat cant hold back any more and just lets the tears come ->Deirdre coughs softly against the back of her hand as she throws a glance at Andrevar. ->Seiran leans down and draws a rose from his pouch, grinning slightly sheepishly Seiran gets a red rose from the pouch. > Andrevar smiles blithely ->Semisse bites her lip to stufle a giggle as she does the same > You get a red rose from the backpack. > ->Syogen takes a flower from his pouch Sinjin grins Briyon peers at Syogen ->Semisse lifts the single blood red rose, pressing a kiss against the delicate petals before handing it over to Seiran with a tender smile, blinking against her tears > ->Syogen boggles in Briyon's direction, mouthing "What?" Briyon nods at Syogen meaningfully ->Seiran holds Semisse's hands as she hands him the rose, and trades hers for his, smiling very brightly to her Syogen nods at Briyon surely Syogen winks Seiran gives a red rose to you. You give a red rose to Seiran. Cait says, "Seiran and Semisse, I would ask that where ever you make your home in the future - whether it be a large and elegant home - or a small and graceful one - that you both pick one very special location for roses; so that on each anniversary of this truly wonderful occasion you both may take a rose to that spot both as a recommitment to your marriage - and a recommitment that THIS will be a marriage based upon love." Cait says, "In every marriage there are times where it is difficult to find the right words. It is easiest to hurt who we most love. It is easiest to be most hurt by who we most love. It might be difficult some time to words to say "I am sorry" or "I forgive you"; "I need you" or "I am hurting". If this should happen, if you simply can not find these words, leave a rose at that spot which both of you have selected - for that rose than says what matters most of all and should overpower all other things and all other words." > ->Deirdre smiles somewhat tearfully. Cait says, "Seiran and Semisse, if there is anything you remember of this marriage ceremony, it is that it was love that brought you here today, it is only love which can make it a glorious union, and it is by love which your marriage shall endure."" ->Cait smiles happily as she asks Seiran and Semisse to turn and face their guests, she lifts her arms to indicate the happy couple as she announces, "It is my honor to be the first to introduce Seiran and Semisse as husband and wife. May they have a long and blessed life with one another and grow ever more in love daily." Shalyra purrs loudly at the couple. Briyon smiles quietly Taren grins at Bellia Syogen looks at Silomae. Silomae smiles softly ->Aggykat motions through her tears for mae to come sit with her Syogen smiles softly ->Amerys applauds the newlyweds ->Semisse laces her fingers with Seiran's as she turns to face the guests with him, flashing everyone a vibrant smile, tears streaking her face > ->Arturo claps softly. ->Syogen just breaks down, sobbing uncontrolably as he cheers loudly for the newlyweds! Silomae whispers to Aggykat. ->Bellia claps her hands together merrily. Taren cheers enthusiastically! |
