These two corselettes vary designwise only in finished length, and top siloette. The center front of the corselette pictured on the left is 14 inches from center front top to center front bottom and the one on the right is only an inch more. As you can see the inch can make a lot of difference! The one on the left has a straight cut center font topline, and the one on the left has a slightly curved front topline, that dips in the center front. These are both shown on the same body. You can see that extra inch gives more coverage in the hip area, and the bulk of the difference is along the bottom hem. Thes two corselettes also demontrate the effects of basic variatons: the one on the left, has the contrasting center panel, and the one on the right is all the same fabric, with a decorative trim placed over the seams/boning channels. Both have center back lacing, through high quality two piece grommets, and no other opening, |
