NAME - Professionally the world knows her as Nicki Chapman - Nicki being short for Nicola and her ACTUAL surname is Shack/Shackelton depending on which interview you believe! (or at least has been since she got married 2 1/2 years ago!)
NICKNAMES - The press favour 'Nice Nicki'. Simon Cowell frequently shortens her name to Nik.
AGE - 34 according to the tabloids.
DATE OF BIRTH - More guess work on this one but I suspect its the 17th January 1967 (this is an educated guess based on the fact she celebrated her last birthday the day before she came home from her holiday in January - if anyone can be more concrete then let me know!)
OCCUPATION - Creative Director of 19 Management, Pop Idol Judge
CAREER HISTORY - Nicki's worked her way up in the music industry from being Promotions Assistant at MCA records (aged 21) to managing some of the biggest names in music. She did a stint at RCA (where she met not only Shacky but also Mr Cowell) as Head of Promotions before leaving 6 years ago. Was a partner in the Brilliant! PR company which did PR for among others Spice Girls, Charlotte Church and Billie. Oh yeah, and she appeared in some little programme called Popstars.
FAMILY - One sister (Shelley - a teacher) , twin nephews Douglas and Christopher (aged 4)
and then of course there's the husband... Dave Shack (Vice President of BMG)

FRIENDS - There's someone called Monica who lives in America, also someone
called Krista. Then there's the famous ones - Mel C, Charlotte Church and
Myleene Klass have all been mentioned although generally Nicki says famous
people only phone her when they've got a problem! SHACKY
FOES - Hard to believe that someone as nice as Nicki actually has enemies but Chris Evans doesn't like her very much - he publicly slagged her off on his radio show during the time she was managing his then girlfriend, now wife, Billie Piper. Nicki doesn't bear any grudges though - now there's a surprise!
LIKES - Shacky, sweet food, pampering herself, her mobile phone, being a judge of Pop Idol, Simon, Pete and Foxy, sparkly tops, being lovely... to everyone, the YMCA girl, holidays, her job, rearranging her wardrobe by colour, soppy films.
DISLIKES - Cruelty to animals, kick boxers threatening to beat Pete up, rude people, bees (she got stung by one during the first auditions), novelty records at any time of the year other than Christmas, being interupted when she's trying to give feedback, random blonde tarts offering to show her their nipples.
