SO, YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THE GIRL BEHIND THE WEBSITE? WELL, I'M DONNA, AND THIS IS MY PRESS RELEASE....

With minimal website building experience and a broken scanner, 21 year old Nottingham born Donna was not immediately the most obvious of choices to build a website dedicated to a star of what is, without a doubt, THE TV show of the year so far! However Donna knew she had one very important quality - passion - and so, armed with that and a copy of yahoo pagebuilder she spent one very hungover weekend throwing together 'Nicki World'... and the rest, is history...

Obsessiveness is nothing new to Donna a girl who in her time has appeared in a landmark Emmerdale episode (and been to dinner with half the cast), gatecrashed a chart topping bands tour bus and has been known to eschew her own name in favour of that of her latest obession. "No one could EVER call me half hearted about things I like." Donna says, "I wear my heart on my sleeve. My whole 'thing' over Nicki even worked its way into a staff meeting last week... we ended up talking about Pop Idol for a good 90 minutes as a result!"

Yep, you heard right. The nutter works, or at least she tries to (occasionally daydreaming about Nicki gets in the way). She remains somewhat mysterious about what she does but admits, "It's in the music and entertainment industry but nowhere near in Nic's league". It's with her career in mind however that Donna has found inspiration in Nicki and as a result built this website - although she admits she'd be lying if she denied that Ms Chapman's stunning good looks didn't also come into the equation. A self confessed lover of straight women though, that doesn't bother Donna... she'd far too chilled for that! As long as it doesn't bother Nicki (answers on an email Nicki if you're reading this!) it doesn't bother her!

Away from Nicki, Donna's main loves are 'Bad Girls', champagne, Holby City (rah! - Mr Meyer), getting 'ratted', cheesy music, her black gypsey top ala Nicki's, shopping, Cerys Matthews from Catatonia, tube trains and message boards. She also loves to write - hence the proud unveilling of the the NicFics on this site. Her top 5 'dinner party' guests are listed as Nicki Chapman, Simone Lahbib, Cerys Matthews, Robbie Coltrane and Meyer from Holby.

Donna would like to dedicate this site to the girls on the Bad Girls message board who forced her to start it (and came up with the name!), her fabulous girlfriend and of course to Nicki herself without whom this site would just be called 'World' and have nothing on it which would be rather boring!!!!
