This is our arsenal. These are the weapons of choice when on the frontlines fighting terrorism.
These are our neighbors...they just moved in. We got back from work one day and it was just there...another shack. A few days later--another one! Two shacks in the same week moved into our neighborhood. I hope they behave themselves...this is a quiet neighborhood.
There wasn't enough line to hook us, maintenance, to the main campsite generators (a pair of 100K's...purchased locally, too), so we use a military issued 3K that we brought with us from Pendleton.
Here is our humble abode. We almost literally built it ourselves. We found it at the base dump and we used the forklift to load it onto a truck that we asked another unit for. We cleaned it out; we put in the floors (the plywood supply was short, so we used a bunch of 2x4's--hard wood floor, eh?); and we put up the insulation on our walls (that is, wherever there is insulation, we put it up).
And here is a view from the inside of the shack.
