Q: Which site has better design?
The content of coffe site& original coffe site is actually the same. However it looks quite different. Coffee site looks much more professional because of the way it is organized and designed. On the other hand, the original coffee site looks a bit messy, unorganized and so on. These are some comparison between the two website.
First, for the coffee site, it has clear purpose statement on the main page. Links and title are in the center. Therefore it is much more neat,well-organized providing true entertainment for the coffee lovers.
Next, for the original coffe site, Pictures don't blend with the background. Links which are centered looks better than links being listed. For 'Are you a true coffee lover?'the picture is placed in an odd position which is way at the right side of the page. The background clolor is too dark which makes it too heavy so the words are a bit hard to read in link 2. For link 3, 'Coffee lovers unite' among 3 links that are uploaded only one of them are linked appropriately. 'Epicure Excnage' doesn't even open.
These are some difference between the two websites. Even though the contents are the same, the way it is designed is really improtant. I realized this point once again by comparing these two website. I hope I can later build a great website like the coffee site which was great~!
