You had better take good care of "Ma-Ma"! Chanell Johnson-Anderson ~ Bridesmaid A former co-worker of mine. She and her children are a very special part of my extended family. Chanell is a shining example of stamina against all odds and I am glad to call her my friend. Marchel "CRICKET" Walker-Smith ~ Bridesmaid Everyone probably has a Fonz-type-of cool relative that they always wanted to mimic growing up. Well for me - that was my "Cricket." Always there when I needed her - no matter how much time and miles stood between us. I love her to death and am glad she's agreed to stand up with me. Heather Duren-Shipp ~ Bridesmaid Our friendship is far from a BASIC one. It has withstood the tests of time and great distances - for over nine years and yet somehow we always seem to pick up right where we left off last. Loretta Berry-Gassoway ~ Bridesmaid The former Miss. Berry is a fellow Mickey Mouse & PRINCE fan. We met as members of HHC 33D Infantry Brigade, and ended up as friends. "It's A Small World Afterall!" Rachel Langs ~ Bridesmaid Whatever can I say about my future sister-in-law?! She's the Bomb-Diggity! She breaks every in-law stereotype I know. I hope God continues to use you and I'm glad we're friends. Tameka EVANS ~ Bridesmaid "Ms. Luscious" herself, Queen of Road-Rage and 24hr Walmarts. We got stuck with each other when we were placed into the same section, and haven't been able to shake each other since. She is a loyal and true-blue friend. Teresa Dixon ~ Bridesmaid Our relationship has been F.A.T.A.L. since it's inception. She is my Alter-Ego, and reality-check. Other than the PHYSICAL differences between us - but the other similarities are scary. Tracey A.-McKinley ~ Bridesmaid My Diva buddy extrodinare. This Glam-Girl 1st introduced me to mini-skirts, high- heels and why not to use socks in a French Roll! She has also helped to keep me grounded and shown me that all things are possible through FAITH. Francine Brown-Lofton ~ Bridesmaid Marriage brought this fellow gem into the fold of my family. With her quiet ways and mellow tones, it's hard to believe we're born under the same "sign." Nevertheless, I love her - even in spite of her corny jokes! ;-) |
