Bloomfield/Davis Co., Iowa Adventures!!!
Yes, that is me on a tractor!  On this adventure, the Park family took me to a friend's house/shop to see tractor-pulling...behind the scenes!  Tractor Pulling is a sport where the tractor that can pull the most weight the farthest wins.  I walked into the shop to see a big tractor stripped down to it's skelton!  I guess to stay in tip top pulling shape, you must keep the engine and seals in the best shape possible.
Ya remember that famous painting from High School?  It is titled "American Gothic"  The painting has that old guy, with the pitch-fork and flannel on, and an old lady with her little bonnet on.  Both with super stern faces on....I'm sure you remember now!!  Well, I didn't have a pitch-fork and Lacey can't be stern for the camera, so this is the best we could do.
Boo!!!!  Oh don't get too scared.  This is only the oldest church west of the Mississippi River and it's located right in Davis County!  It reminds me of somewhere that the Blair Witch Project could have been filmed at.
I want to thank all of people who made my stay in Bloomfield, Iowa such a great time.  Thank you to the Park family...Steve, Dianne, Laura, Dexter(da kitty), Dot(the older kitty), Frisky(the even older kitty), oh..and Lacey.  The family put up with me and even fed me for a complete week!!  Thanks soooo much!!  Everyone that I came across in Bloomfield was super nice, including Lacey's friends, Laura's friend, and even Brian, Lacey's boss.  One day, Steve(Lacey's dad) and Laura(Lacey's sis) drove me to an auto-racing parts store Memphis, Missouri to get some purple, orange, and checkered duct tape,...the employees were hilarious and such great company!  THANKS EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!
