This page is dedicated to the disaster of 9-11. I had just moved back to New York right before that day.  After serving for almost 4 weeks at Ground Hero and in the City I have been deployed to Homeland Defense at West Point, NY. Please don't forget all those who gave so much to make it better. Remember that it will only get better with time, and pray for those who have suffered in the time of our countries greatest disaster.
At the World Trade Center I was with the 1 Battalion 69th Infantry Reg. out of Lexington Ave NY as part of Security as well as doing search and rescue.
I took this photo 13 Sept.
That is me looking over the site.
Marching in to the unknown. Sept 11th.
It was amazing to see so many different services working together to get it done. It was a proud moment in history to see that people could put aside their differences to accomplish good.  Sad it had to take a great dissaster to make it happen.
My work badge from Ground Zero (Hero).
For those of you that watched from home I was the soldier crying on the shoulder of a firefighter, yes grown men do cry. After all I lost a friend and I felt like everything I fought for in this country was being torn down.
