Clothing for 9th ID

Ok here is a basic list of what you need to get. Remember to ask us first before buying anything so you don't buy the wrong thing or pay too much. Try to stay away from the dark green canvas web material and go for a more khaki color. That way you can go early war and late war. As far as clothing you can either use approved repro or original.

1. Shirt, Wool Flannel, OD (required)
Repro or original are ok. The shirt is a full button-up shirt
with long sleeves and two breast pockets. Note that no postwar shirts allowed.

2. Trousers, Wool Serge, OD, Light Shade, M-1937 (required)
Repro or original are ok. These are made of wool and are a mustard color with two side pockets and two hip pockets. They also have a button fly and a watch pocket on the right front waist-band.

3. Jacket M41 (required)
Repro or original are ok. This jacket can is actually the best one to get since it can be used for all events. You can either get this jacket or the M43.

4. Jacket M43 (Optional)
Repro or original are ok. This is a mid war jack and obviously can't be used for early war events but still a good jack to choose. You need to have either this jacket or the M41.

5. HBT's (optional)
Original or approved repro 1st or 2nd pattern and trousers with 13 star metal buttons. To be worn at certain ETO events.

6. Wool Overcoat (optional)

Original overcoats should have the brass buttons instead of the plastic ones.

7. Raincoat.(optional)

Original, approved repro. The day you come out at it’s raining you will be sorry you don’t get this.

8. Button High Neck Sweater (optional)
Original, approved repro.

9. Undershirt (optional)

Original, approved repro .

10. Blanket (optional)
Original and you can get one or two its up to you.
