| Younger than Innocence -Knowing in Essense | ||||||||
| By Sarah Faithy, Early 2006 | ||||||||
| Note: I love this poem, even if its kind of weird. I know it has an interesting format, but I like it because it captures how life sort of goes...in phases. In words. Each phase only need but a word to truly describe it, and as each phase passes, as each word is written, when all is said and done, you find that they're not really a jumble of words after all... they've written a story. | ||||||||
| Fresh - Light - Wonder - Innocence. Find - Laugh - Wander - In essense. Stop. Hesitate. touch? or not to touch? Step - Accumilate. Pain. needed so much. Experience - a year - ashes? or flame? Expire - I wish. Move on - Still but, tame. Somber... wisdome. Tears - knowing. Sounder - a year. Time - growing. Stop - ponder. Keep going? - pause. Step. Taller. Time thought - its clause. Fresh? yes. Light? sought. Wonder? A mystery. Younger than Innocence. Find? More. Laugh - knowing. Wander - in direction. Experience in essense. |
