Gallery of Russian coins

I am starting to add images of Russian coins. Most of them are from my own collection which is not very comprehensive. Some coins just past through my hands and I managed to make scans. I am asking collectors who have nice and important Russian coins in their possessions to send me high resolution images of obverse and reverse (separately) to be posted here. I will indicate the source of images if you request so. Thank you all in advance!
  •    Denda of Pskov. Minted between 1424 and 1510. Obverse is belived to depict Duke Dovmont-Timothey of Pskov "the Saint". This particular coin has a mark - Russian "". Images provided by Brett Green (Australia.)

  •    1740 Ivan III pattern rouble. This is a very strange coin struck on a Swedish riksdaler of about 30 years later period. The purpose of striking it is clearly unknown. Another interesting fact that it is found in Alaska. It may come there with the Russian explorers. Courtesy of Alaska State Museum, Juneau, Alaska

  •    1839 Borodino Memorial commemorative rouble. The Borodino Memorial architect was A. Adamini. The column was made of the metal from captured French cannons. Genrikh Gube cut dies. 166,000 pieces were initially planned to strike. The public demand for these coins was very low and about 146,000 were melted down on the mint and used for regular coinage. This coin is in very Fine condition.

  •    1859 Nicolas I Memorial commemorative rouble. 25,000 pieces were planned. A. Lialin cut the tsar's portrait side. Vasily Alexeev cut the side with the monument. As for the coronation roubles, these commemorative coins were given to soldiers participated in the events. 26,500 pieces were struck. M. Skudnov cut the reverse with the Small State Seal of the Alexander I period. The obverse depicts words from the Alexander I Manifesto: "This glorious year has past but the feats committed in it will never pass." Interesting meeting happened during the August celebrations. Nichols II met and spoke with the Borodino veterans, the oldest of whom, Anton Vintonyuk was 128 years old! This coin is in uncirculated condition.

  •    1913 Tercennial of Romanovs Dynasty commemorative rouble. A medal by M. Kerzin was used as a pattern for medalier Vasjutinsky to cut dies. The majority of the coins struck in high relief. A small number is in low relief. Total mintage is about 1.5 million. This coin is a high relief variety. Brilliant uncirculated condition.

  •    1915 silver rouble. Mint documents indicate 600 rouble pieces for 1915. Other sources say 5,000 pieces were struck. Two artillery regiments celebrated their 100th anniversaries in 1915 and military authorities had asked the mint to strike rouble coins to give away to soldiers. Without this order there wouldn't be probably any rouble coins in 1915. In around 1927 Soviet Philately Association started offering to its members 1915 roubles in large quantities. It is believed these were all novodels struck with genuine dies. It is unknown how many real 1915 roubles survived. This coin is in Extremely Fine condition.
