But first, some Dos and Don'ts:
- No Mary-Sues: that means no too unrealistically cool characters with super abilities and looks etc. Everyone is fallible (even Sam Carter).
- No unrealistic super-powers. Normal Humans do not have Telekineses etc. If you want a character with such abilities, by all means apply but you're gonna need one heck of an application to get it otherwise we'll be swamped with Hok'taur and no one wants that.
- No canon characters. No one gets to play Carter, Teal'c, Landry etc) I will know if you're trying to take on one of the more obscure ones too because I'm a super SG geek.
- Alien races are fine (again, don't be exagerated), canon are prefered but go ahead and create your own (but desribe them a bit so we know what they are). No Replicators/Asurans for obvious reasons.
- Only Humans and a small number of Jaffa, Tok'ra or Asguard can be crew. There are many more Humans than the rest.
- Everyone else gets to play civillians (Tau'ri are personel, no tourism in space yet) such as traders, rogues, diplomats etc. or members of an alien military.
- You can be of any branch of the military on Earth. Most crew will be from the military, particularly American.
You can think of the place as a sort of Babylon 5 or Deep Space Nine but less advanced.
