Summary: Development of Multiple Manufacturer Functionality that involves the tracking of manufacturers, materials and suppliers within the order Management Package of Baan ERP. This was a specific functionality catering to the needs of the Electronics Industry where the need for tracking of electronic component suppliers is vital and need of the industry. This functionality has integration with the manufacturing, object data management and warehousing module of Baan ERP.

Summary: Was involved in the Testing of Baan ERP5.2b. The testing methodologies included White Box, Black Box, Functional unit, Integration and System testing of the product. Apart from that was also involved in Maintenance of the product in the form of solving the bugs logged by the customers and providing solutions to the customer. The task involved working with live companies of the customer with the live data using remote logins and dial up systems. It involved both functional enhancements required by the customer and also solving bugs due to programming errors. Some of the leading customers for whom the maintenance was done include Boeing USA, Astaldi Italy, Anderson Windows USA and Henderson AAG Holdings Australia.

Summary: Dynamic Enterprise Modeling is a tool, which is used for faster implementation of Baan ERP and modeling Business Processes of an Industry. It is a graphical tool, which helps in designing and implementing the Business Models for an Organization, based on the different business functions and Roles in the Organization. DEM is the biggest differentiator between Baan and other ERP vendors, which makes Baan Stay ahead in Business Process Modeling.

The tool supports Enterprise modeling, Business Control and Functional Modeling, Business Process Modeling, Project and Reference Modeling. The major strength of DEM lies in its strong link with the Sessions in Baan ERP, this is the key reason for its edge over other modeling tools by third party vendors.

I am solely responsible for development and Enhancements and Maintenance of the tool.

Summary: The knowledge management portal takes care of the seamless flow of knowledge from one person to another in the organization. It makes sure that the knowledge and the experts in the field are available for knowledge and information seekers at anytime and anywhere in the world in Baan Development. The Portal was integrated with the Intranet site of the company.

The portal supports People Information, Product Information, Document Information, Discussion Forum, E-Learning facility, Request management and Search Engine.

Was solely responsible for the Design and Development of the Portal. Also acted as a Project Leader guiding other developers to achieve the Goal.

It also maintains authorizations and profiles of people. The tool helps in tracking the requirements and functionality, which should go into the next release of Baan suite of products.
