To Stark County Auditor,
The following is a list of all lands on which the taxes were charged on the Duplicate of Stark county for 1825, and on which the taxes, interest and penalty or penaties have not been paid on or before 1st inst. with the taxes &c. due thereon--you are therefore hereby directed, in case the said taxes, interest and penalty or penalties, be not paid by the last day of October nex, to proceed to advertise and sell the same, in the manner pointed out by law for the sale of Lands for Taxes.

"We observe in a New Orleans paper, a letter signed by Thomas Gibson, Frederick A Brengham, Augustus Hervett, Thomas Turnbull, and William Chase, dated Tuesday, May 1, 1817. These men belonged to the elegand schooner Ellen Tooker of New York, who had gone ashore for water, but unfortunately lost their boat, and were taken up by the Spaniards, and put into a dungeon. This letter, soliciting releif, is addressed to Mr. Murphy, at Vera Cruz."
