| Here's to Johnny!! John always seems to be the busy one....always running around working on something. If not on his own solo projects, then John seems to working on band projects. He seems to be a family oriented man, & a hard worker. I have liked John from the very beginning. Although I can Not say that I have yet had the chance to meet John in person, he Does seems to be a real Sweet guy! One of my hopes & wishes is that come next year on Duran's Tour, I'll be able to finally meet John, Andy, & Roger! When I was growing up back in the early 1980's, I had a very close friend that I would always spend time with. I would either go to Leigh's house or she would come over to mine. We seemed to always have Duran Duran overnight parties! We would always watch a bunch of Duran Duran videos, or we would listen to the Radio waiting to hear the next Duran Duran song to be aired live. We were really big into music then. I Still Love Music, but I don't really listen to the Radio or listen to my CD's as much as I use to. While I would go crazy for Simon & Nick, Leigh would go bunkers over John! She Loved John. I can remember when John did the "I Do What I Do" single for the movie, 'Nine & A Half Weeks.' I Still Love that song!! I think & believe that John has a Great voice!! When John & Andy got together to created, Power Station, I just could Not get enough of the Album!! I would listen to the Album all day long when I could. I have to say that I love both Power Station Albums & just could Not get enough of either of the CD's! If you Still Don't have the "Living With Fear" CD, you ought to get it! I think it's Fantasic!! Around the that John & Andy got together to create Power Station, Arcadia came out with "So Red The Rose." I not Only Did I really get into Power Station, but I also began to really get into the Arcadia Album. "So Red The Rose" & the Single, "Say The Word," are Still Fantasic to listen to! I Still think that Both the Power Station & the Arcadia Album are fantasic!! What Is Your Favorite album?? John, this one is for You!! |
