"Gospel fans and most music fans don't agree on over-rated and under-rated listings. I'll be honest and say I don't have the ear to judge musically who is better but I know what I like. I think Roy Pauley does have that ear even if you disagree with his trend to favor older styles. Nevertheless in his list of top seven tenors a few months ago Jerry Martin came in at #7 which seems about right to me, trailing people like David Phelps, Larry Ford and John Rulapagh (Pauley's #1). I think Martin has improved since joining the Doves.
As For Mcray, Pauley loves his voice which harkens back to singers like Ed Enoch. He isn't the best lead, but his enthusiasim and his ability to get the best out of others (how did Eric Dove get so good and where was the David Hester we now hear hiding?)
Agree on Mike Holcomb as overrated bass. Hester and Tim Duncan are my current favorites.
I have a hard time picking baritones.

Dear SV, to be honest I'm not even convinced that "Avery" is human. He/She/It is like a machine with those blogs. "Avery" is a just a blogging machine.

Well AC, to answer you question, it is the latter. Just a place to freely express my opinion. I'm not big on accomplishments, or anything lofty like that. Never been one for setting many goals, I'm actually kind of lazy I guess. Thanks for asking though.

"Your font color choice is horrible. It makes it very painful to read that lime green text, you need to change it. You'll get more return visits I think if you do."
