Asparagus & Mayonnaise
garterlac facecloth

The Pattern
Made with Lily Sugar n' Cream kitchen cotton and US8 straight needles. I know the pattern calls this a dishcloth, but I prefer these as facecloths -- in fact, they're all I use now. And they are so fun to make!! It really does feel like extreme knitting to a knitting novice like me. Using a single skein of ombre yarn gives a neater cloth. I still like the scrap version, even though you can see the color-change "ridges". I've made three using scraps, even though I only have a picture of one, and they're so bright and cheerful and look great in my bright bathroom. Besides, they're to use, not to display. If I ever give one as a gift, though, I'll avoid the ridges.
