22nd June - Honda to supply Jordan and BAR for 2002.
Both Jordan and BAR will receive Honda power next season.

Honda technical director Kazutoshi Nishizawa confirmed the news today at the Friday press conference, putting to rest all the rumours that Honda planned to dump one team in order to focus their effort better. Following BMW�s rise to the top of the power plant list, it was suggested that Honda could only follow if they concentrated on one team.

Nishizawa responded to the recent paddock and press speculation by confirming the status quo.
"We will supply engines to both teams next season, he said. In fact we presented the 2002 engine to the teams at the Malaysian Grand Prix and we have had several meetings with them."
"There was never a plan to drop either team."
