Heinz-Harald has had a tough few weeks.
Following his big accident into the armco at Monaco, he then again hit the barriers hard in Montreal's Friday Free Practice, forcing him to withdraw from qualifying and the race. Since then he has even been unable to participate in the testing at Silverstone.
Although he has not been suffering any specific medical problem, headaches and spells of dizziness have meant he has had to rest at home and the F1 doctor, Sid Watkins, has been keeping an eye on him.
He is now convinced that he is fully recovered and will be given a ckeckup by Sid when he arrives at the German circuit on Thursday.
"Finally the time of hanging around is over," the German Ace has commented.
"On Thursday, I will arrive at the Nrburgring for my first real home Grand Prix this year. Our race doctor Sid Watkins is sure to give me the green light for the race.
I think a very short check will be enough and then I can completely concentrate on racing again. At the Nrburgring, the second half of this season begins and I have decided that my streak of bad luck is over and I will fight back from now on !"
