Ricardo Zonta and Jarno Trulli, replacing Heinz-Harald Frentzen, carried out the third day of a four day test with the Jordan Honda team in warm and overcast conditions on Thursday.
Trulli completed 52 laps and was fourth quickest with a lap time of 1:24.87 and Zonta finished 43 laps, posting the sixth fastest time of 1:25.49.
Jarno carried out tyre comparisons for Bridgestone and continued work, begun by Frentzen earlier this week, on general set-up and brake evaluation for the Italian Grand Prix.
Zonta spent the morning evaluating various aerodynamic packages and brake options, although he was lucky to escape unhurt from a big 180mph accident in the afternoon session.
He spun into the barriers at the Ascari chicane when a component failed on his car. The Brazilian, who is no stranger to big accidents having had major offs at Silverstone and Spa in the past, emerged without injury although his EJ11 was no so lucky.
