Jarno has to decide in the next few weeks where he wants to drive for the 2002 season.
These are unsettled days at Jordan, but Trulli is not going to let this weeks happenings influence his decision though. "I will remain focused and do the best job I can for this team. I know that what happened to Heinz won't influence my decision regarding what I will do next year."
Eddie Jordan has strongly expressed his desire to keep the Italian, but he gave similar sentiments regarding Heinz-Harald Frentzen only three weeks ago.
Despite the team boss change of heart it is believed that he would love to sign the Italian driver for another year, so the decision it likely to be Trullis. However, aside from a move to the currently under-performing Benetton/Renault, there is not much on offer for next year.
"Although it's a good idea to stay here, you have to take a look at what's happening around you," he explained. I know what I can achieve with this team, but I have to consider other opportunities. I am talking with several people and I will make my decision within the next few weeks. I'm just really relaxed because I know I'm doing a good job and I can be strong wherever I go.
He is not counting his chickens, though. "Then again maybe Eddie will want to change both drivers. You never know. I've learnt anything can happen in Formula One from one day to the next."
