On Friday, Heinz-Harald Frentzen took over testing duties from Jarno Trulli and finished the day in a good second place.
He completed 65 laps of the Circuit de Catalyuna, again working on general setup and chassis development.
As Honda powered cars finished the day in first and second place, the engine manufacturer took the opportunity to say how delighted they are with the preparation and progress that both of its teams are making.
"The new RA001E engine has performed well in both BAR and Jordan cars," says Kazutoshi Nishizawa, Technical Director of Honda Racing Development.
"We have been gathering excellent data from both teams and we are meeting our pre-season targets. We are pleased to have our cars running fast and reliably and it is excellent that both teams have managed to complete race distance simulations with the new cars this week."
